I think that ceramic frog was a flower frog! It’s used to arrange flowers for proper spacing. You put it in a vase and the stems go in the holes! Super nifty!

The thing on the chicken plate is so that you can hang a plate on the wall. For some reason it was on upsidedown though which is probably why you couldn't figure it out.

RAVEN!!! You should add some like fake ivy to your castle bookends, and maybe even paint them gray and make them look old and decaying, the cracks and glue would not only look good with that but make it sooooo much more interesting to look at!!
