- The Microcosm combines granular sampling, delay, and looping techniques to create gorgeous ambient accompaniment, transformation and immersion with its stereo reverb. Sounds are diffused into icy ambient textures, glitched sequences, pitched pads, and cinematic drones. Microloops can be locked into tight tap-tempo rhythms and synced to devices over MIDI. Save your effects settings, and recall your loops with user presets.
The secret is out. The Microcosm is an inspiring device that adds a magic sauce to whatever sounds you're cooking with. There is a lot of sonic exploration to be had and sound design potential with its well designed combination of features. The Microcosm is a multi-tool for musicians and explorers of all sounds.

I take it you saw the video where the guy did that and put it into an 8 bit mode?
About a year ago I told myself, I’m through buying pedals....sigh...bought this immediately after seeing some of what this is capable of.
This pedal is one of my absolute favorites to run both of my harps through. It’s so amazing all the patterns it creates, a lot of which you won’t hear more than once or twice. It’s also a plus that they’re a local company, so musicians from Tennessee should definitely support them as we need them to make more than just the 3 they already have 😂 They’ve came a looong way in recent years and I just love everything about each of their pedals.
Such an amazing machine. I've been working with so many amazing VST plugins, iOS apps, Zoia, Infinite Jets....
and now, more than ever, there has never been a time when there have been so many outstanding brilliant sound designers.
The Microcosm has it's own voice, really beautiful lush environments, it stands out for sure

It is indeed the magic sauce. I’m using mine a lot with the Polyend Tracker and sometime it’s like there is a new track when adding the Microcosm. Great demo!

I pre ordered one for Jan 2022. My board has an octave pedal, a gain, strymon El capistan A big sky and a night sky. Any suggestions as to where the best place to place the microcosm in my chain?
It would be nice in most locations, but it could be really sweet right before your Nightsky/ Bigsky when your pedals go from mono to possibly stereo.
