A suggestion. Place the mat at the top of your trimmer and push your blade from the bottom up to prevent slipping. On small pieces i can't hold,I use painter's tape to stabilize it.🙂❤

I love the idea of using placemats. No stencils, rub-on transfers or trying to hand paint. So quick and easy and they all turned out great!! Love them all!!

Very cute ideas! And I always have a butter knife in my craft area. Also a sharper knife to cut little foam pumpkins in half for projects.
Butter knives are always necesssry. You never know when you’ll need one😂

A tip for using the paper cutter with the vinyl placemat is to add some double sided tape under the placemat to stop it from sliding while you glue it. You could also use masking tape to hold it down.

Loved your ideas! Thank you for sharing them. My favorite was all the the pumpkin patch one with all the different crafts from one placemat.
Quick tip to hep make your cutter work better for you. First make sure you always start with the blade at the top. Then secure what you are cutting to the bottom edge of your cutter. Now as you cut, you are always bringing the blade down, and the material you are cutting is already flush against the bottom edge so it won’t move around on you.
If you are more comfortable slicing away from you- just do the opposite and start with the blade at the bottom, pushing your material to the top edge instead. I learned this after the same struggle and now I love my cutter :)

I really like this idea of using placements for some fall decor pieces. Those coasters are so cute, and very practical, since the vinyl is water repellent!
Love your projects. I just wanted to say I was a soccer mom from when my daughter was in second grade through her senior year. Once she was in High school she basically played year round. I was excited to watch her play, but after all the years traveling and high school I thought when she graduated “I’m glad we finally have weekends back””, but to tell you the truth I miss those day’s and it’s been 10 years and to tell you I even missed it when it came to that fall. So enjoy every minute of the games and don’t think I will love it when I don’t have to do it any more, because you miss it when it’s gone. I hope your child has a wonderful time playing soccer. These were soooooo cute. I feel like placements are just too pretty sometimes to just eat on, good ideas girl. I often feel like there are many simple prints that could be incorporated in home decor, but just never know how to put it into a actual idea that I would want to display in my home. Omg I absolutely love these!!! I actually picked up two of the placemats with the truck at DG just the other day and now I'm kicking myself that I didn't pick up that pumpkin one too! There was only one of those but you can bet your bottom I'm going back to see if it's still there! 😂 I never thought to cut the truck out! Soooo glad you made this video!!! I plan on using one of the truck placemats and one of the fall cutting board shapes to make something. Hope it comes out as nice as all yours did!
