One of my favorite things about this anime is that working out actually shows gains. In most anime, the mc will have absurd strength in a skinny body and just attribute it to magic. This guy works out a ton and gets jacked and his muscles actually get progression.
I can definitely appreciate that!

The ultimate evil shadow thing you keep mentioning is his demon inside his book. Whenever he has a red eye, not sure if you noticed but half his hair turns black and he grows a wing and a horn which is to represent his demon but there are many demons in the show and thereâs no one main villain not at least till near the end

Personally, I think it's clear that Zagred is the main antagonist of the Eye of the Midnight Sun Saga, with Patolli before him before Zagred's machinations are revealed.

Yeah pretty much. Zagred is the one behind every event in part 1 while the Wizard King is the head of the Zogratis family and main antagonist of part 2.

The manga artist recently had a mental breakdown and was hospitalized due to stress from deadlines. Once he recovered, he went on a hiatus to really plan out the final chapters of the manga. I believe he is back from the hiatus and is writing/drawing them now.
There's a movie coming out in June!

Anime caught up with the manga, dangerously close actually. I think it was 17 chapters out, which is about 6 anime episodes, maybe 1 or 2 more if they stretched it; but Black Clover famously has very little filler.

@@BenBenReacts there is one filler arc that takes place after the first arc ends but its only because, like OP said, they were dangerously close to catching the manga. It mainly exists to give the manga time to get further ahead. still entertaining though.
â@@BenBenReacts it does have a COUPLE filler. I personally hate them. It has a couple episodes dedicated almost entirely to recap. There's usually about 2 scenes lasting a few seconds of content. But I skipped & couldn't stand them. Didn't really change the story except once. The second time all hell is breaking loose you should look but yeah. The filler episodes it has are pretty bad. The one filler arc is pretty cool though

Black Clover takes place in a world where everyone is born with Magic, however, for some reason the protagonist Asta is born without it, and in a world where your value is judged by the amount of magic your have, you can guess where that puts him.
The main setting is the Clover Kingdom, one of four major Kingdoms (Heart, Spade, Diamond and Clover, you get it) and the MC wants to join the Magic Knights, which is the military force of said Kingdom. The black robes you see them wear are the emblem of the particular squad he joins, the Black Bulls. There are a total of nine different squads, so you'll notice some people wearing different robes. Black Bulls are seen as the trouble makers.
This is definitely a show I want to get to eventually too đ I think Iâd like it a lot!
@@BenBenReacts You will, it's really good. I've heard some people say it's part of the new Big 3 replacing either Naruto or Bleach. Now the Big 3 are the Big 3, they havn't been replaced, but that goes to show how good it is.

Black clovers very fun but the anime caught up to the manga so its on hiatus. (If you watch it he stops being loud ((peoples main complaint)) like 5 eps in) the intros are cool too because theres multiple versions of each. As the season progresses the intros get less censored or longer as to avoid too many spoilers. Good example is the final one where it gets longer as the final season progresses and reveals more of certain characters

The girl with red eyes is good, not bad. The shadow ghoul is a devil that lives in the main character's grimoire and what gives the main character his power.

And the show stopped at episode 170. That's because the anime catched up on the manga too fast.

MC's name is Asta, hes a magicless person in a world full of magic that wants to become the Wizard king (the top mage in the clover kingdom) Yuno, the boy you see with Asta normally is his rival who grew up together. They both want the same thing and are competing to see who beats who.
The shadow thing is Liebe, the anti-magic devil that lives in Asta's grimoir.
The Black Bulls are a magic knight squad and that emblem youre constantly seeing is theirs. Asta is part of them, Yuno is part of Golden Dawn.
if you want a very short way to describe the plot of Black Clover, it's basically "I'm a swordsman in a war of the magicians"
there's an upcoming anime (from popular manga) called "Mashle" and it's plot is "You're not a Wizard, Harry (Potter)." "Who cares if I'm not a wizard, I got fists."

The girl with red eyes is the bird from the previous openings. Astra the short boy with white hair is the main character. Yuno is the tall skinny guy with black hair and he is astra childhood friend.

Great reaction, would be cool to see your reaction to different versions of some openings, op 2, 5, 7 and 10 have versions with new visuals(there is a bunch of versions, but most of them are just more detailed versions with extra effects because anime was coming out without pauses each week, so first versions of openings may lack polish)
It's hard to catch much informations from these oppenings, but you are pretty sharp to be honest

Sir i am new to you and your content but if there is anything I am most sure of in this world you will love every bit of this show if you watch it. IF you do, stream your reactions because I will watch everything with you lol.
I donât get why some reactors get so caught up on trying to decipher the plot during opening reactions. That seems like a pointless exercise. If you havenât watched the show youâre not going to figure it out. Just take the music/visuals for what the are and react to them. Thatâs what most reaction fans are looking for but that gets lost when people, instead of enjoying the OP, get caught up on theorizing. Besides, 95% of the visuals in OPs donât even happen in the actual show, so itâs really a waste of time obsessing over supposed plot points.
I think that Black Clover showed the best rivalry between the main character and his rival...

The movie is actually canon. We got the news that it's canon on the 17th last month.

It's definitely not an overview, the anime industry doesn't make recap movies that get played in the cinema. We don't know what its going to be about yet but judging by the title and the promo poster its going to tie into the current story some way.
The movie was actually supposed to come out this month but it got delayed to June.
I recomment you to react to the Endings of Black Clover as well! They're as good as the openings!
I also recomment you to watch the anime as well! It's a great story full of hype moments and plot twists combined with an amazing power system and well built main character AND side characters!

Opening 5 has multiple versions (the visuals are different) so maybe if you watch a different version you would enjoy it more. The Black Clover endings (there are 13 endings) are really good too so you should definitely react to them (The endings usually get requested just as much as the openings.)
Black Clover is still ongoing in manga format. The anime is on a long break because they didn't want to put massive amounts of filler into the next arc.
The anime has 170 episodes and we are getting a movie this summer and hopefully not long after that the anime will resume too (Let's show the studio how much we care about this anime by watching the movie in the cinema and not illegally.).
The basic story with as little spoilers as possible:
Asta (sliver haired kid) and Yuno (black haired kid) were abandoned at the same church on the same day.
As they grew up, the stark difference between them became evident. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all and desperately tries to awaken his powers by training physically.
Raised together as brothers, they came to know of the "Wizard King" (a title given to the strongest mage in the kingdom) and promised that they would compete against each other for the position of the next Wizard King however for that they first need to pass the Magic Knight exam and start from the lowest rank.
Almost all of the openings had different versions, but yeah the 5th opening had a few, but so did the 13th opening (it lightens up some of the bits at the end, and slowly gets rid of the glare for the end to some the other person. (with whom I will not name any of them.))

the world of BC is a world where everyone has Magic... but the protagonist of the story doesn't even have a little amount of mana, he also wants to remove the racism done against lower cast by the royals...
You should really see the anime, you might think that protagonist is a bit annoying cause he screams a ton! if you didn't end up liking anime, you can read the manga cause its also top notch

Anime starts off a little slow but really picks up and has some very enjoyable characters
People have mixed opinions on the start of the anime. A lot of people call that fast-paced. It probably depends on what you watched last & the pacing you're used to

Just a suggestion for you as someone who has been on the reaction side of CZcams. I donât think you should only use patreon to upload episode reactions as you donât have a loyal and stable viewership YET. If youâre worried about copyright there are many ways to get around it like cutting the episodes up, lowering the audio and opacity of the video and more. All love đđœ

Not sure if you mind multiple anime op recommendations, but wanted to recommend different kinds for different audiences.
Isekai/comedy/parody: Konosuba/Gifting Blessings to this Wonderful World! (S1 and S2; endings are unique from most anime), Combatants Will be Dispatched!/Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! (not on CZcams, so have to react from an episode from the anime,) and Hataage! Kemono Michi/Rise up! Animal Road (grouped all three series together because theyâre by the same author and somewhat in the same universe.) KonoBakuen/Gifting Explosions to this Wonderful World is a prequel for Konosuba and the full OP and anime releases in April.
Fantasy: Granblue Fantasy the Animation (S1 & S2, if you like Final Fantasy, people who worked on FF created this series and has a fighting game and a new RPG this year,) Soul Eater (2 OPs), and Fire Force (4 OPs.) Soul Eater and Fire Force are by the same creator.
Post Apocalyptic: God Eater (anime has 1 OP, but the games have good OPs that give more context for the setting; 3 for 1, 2 for 2, and 1 for the 3rd one.)

Realized I forgot one for Post Apocalyptic: the Scarlet Nexus anime (2 OPs, but the game has itâs own OP, too.) The animeâs OPs are Red Criminal and Machinegun (Machinegun has to be searched a bit more specific on CZcams to find the OP, which I found by putting the band name and then the song name and scrolling down a bit: The Oral Cigarettes Machinegun.) Same creator as God Eater.
Black clover i feel like is able to show off every character even most side characters well. At least in the protagonist group they all get times to shine.

This anime isn't my favorite (still pretty good), but it has my favorite openings overall. None of them are a miss. Btw if you ever decide to watch this, you gotta get through one annoying thing in the beginning episodes. This was the first time for the mc's voice actor so it's really annoying in the beginning. He's basically yelling the whole time but it gets better after like 10-20 episodes.
I hear this a lot, but I've watched through the show twice and never had an issue with Asta's voice. I listened to the sub though, maybe it's only a problem in the dub

Some great guesses and some incredibly far off, but no worries. The show does a great job of demonstrating that outward appearances can be misleading. I really love the show and wanna gush over every question you have, but I am afraid to over share and potentially spoil things, so I'll give pros and cons without plot. Its a great shonen, but its weakness is its start. It uses many tropes you'd expect to see in a shonen and people with a few series under their belt tend to claim it unoriginal, but where they take the story and its characters from there is a wonderful journey with no shortage of humorous sad or wholesome moments. The characters all have fun and unique designs and develop very well into lovable characters. The main Character starts off a bit obnoxious and within the first 20 or so episodes, his yelling has had frequent complaints, but as he grows, the voice acting pops off. The animation is hit and miss. At the time of airing, the same studio was also putting out Boruto and allocated more resources to the anticipated hit sequel to Naruto. It aired weekly so the quality in some areas gets spotty, and they have a well known episode of experimenting with a new style that tends to be a love it or hate it situation. You may have noticed that by the end of the openings, the animation had kicked up a bit. I'd say its overall good quality animation though. and finally, its 170 episodes before the anime "ended" The manga still continues to this day and many hope for its return after the movie scheduled to release in June, but nothing has been confirmed. So to say it will return is purely speculation, but the fanbase is strong and dedicated. If you give the show a chance, I think you'll enjoy it thoroughly.

You're pretty far off but understandably so. It's not simple enough as a story to immediately have a clear bad guy. Even by the time it is clear the openings likely wouldn't give it away. You can absolutely get to know Asta (George) without really spoiling anything as he immediately tells you all about him. Everyone in the world has magic and a spell book. Asta has no magic. His spell book doesn't even have magic. It does have anti-magic. The king figure you keep seeing is basically the hokage but with a little less official power. Barely. It's a title you earn and it's what Asta wants. Because he has no magic he trains his body instead. Their robes show what squad they are in. The squads protect the kingdom. There isn't an immediate goal. They're basically police. Anywhere from petty theft & volunteer work to domestic terrorism and underground crime are their responsibility. This show makes the squad more main characters than the rivalry. So at least the 11 you counted actually aren't really side characters. Witch girl isn't especially important just extremely interesting and op. This is not a bad guy vs good guy story, it's a disabled character against a broken system that's slowly improving story. It takes the main points of fairytale, Naruto, my hero academia ect. & does it better.
