How to measure your horse for a saddle - TAKING A TEMPLATE PART 2

- In this video, Poppy Webber (SMS Saddle Fitter) shows you how to take a template of your horse.
These templates can be useful for checking on changes in your horse, and should only be used to purchase a saddle with input from a saddle fitter or saddler (some people don't have physical access to a fitter/saddler, so this can be done remotely using these templates). But mainly it's just useful to be able to measure your horse to keep an eye on their changes between your regular saddle fittings.

Suggestion/video whish: what to look for when you are shopping a used saddle. There are lots of people who shop a used saddle, and could need some pointers for red flags that the saddle is bad or cant adjusted to fit your horse

Love your video. I need a saddle for my Thoroughbred with big withers (high). What is a size panel 2 or 3 or 4. What those numbers mean. What is your opinion about adjustable saddles
if i dont have a flex ruler could i get a rough outline with a sewing tape?
Hi poppy- sorry to double comment. But after many months of mulling it over and talking to the people close to me I am seriously interested I'm going to school to be a saddle fitter. I am wondering if there is any literature you could recommend for someone looking to get started? TIA!
