This old house of mine was in shambles (my life) but the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart on August 4,1985 @ 12:30 Sunday afternoon and did a restoration on me and changed me and from that forward He has been doing a work in the process of total restoration on this old broken down vessel and one day will call me to my eternal home! Glory to His Name!
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (December 3), Acts 3:11-21 was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Faith in Jesus." The hymn, "O Christ, Your Heart, Compassionate," written by Herman G. Stuempfle, Jr (1923-2007), regardless of denimination.

Wow, thank you for this message!!
Oops. I meant to add that this was a good hymn to compliment this Scripture. Don't know how or why I left that out.
