Musical History On Display at the Musicians Hall of Fame

- This May, Nashville becomes the temporary home to some of the most iconic guitars in rock ‘n’ roll history, thanks to an awe-inspiring exhibition at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum. The exhibition, which runs from May 15-18, 2024, is a prelude to the much-anticipated “Music Icons” auction organized by Julien’s Auctions.
Rock Guitars that will be on display:
Joining Lennon’s guitar are instruments from other music legends, each with its own story and legacy:
- Bob Dylan and Robbie Robertson’s historic 1965 Fender Telecaster.
- Randy Bachman’s 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, known from the hit “American Woman”.
- Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols’ 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom.
- Mark Knopfler’s 1987 Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Guitar, autographed by Atkins to benefit The King’s Trust.

Musician Hall of Fame show with Joe provided us with the best content. His interviewing style was so remarkable. He truly understood it was about the person he was interviewing. Joe was always prepared. I miss him and the show.

The episode that aired April 20,2022 with Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone, I made the comment that Joe should start a new category for music historian and he deserved the first. I meant it 100% then and I mean it now. Joe was the best.

We started a new award last year called the Joe Chambers Musicians Legacy, which was given first to Ringo.

Nice collection! Would love to have been at that event. Julien's certainly gets the best of the best in regards to Guitars, artist's collections and personal belongings. Have purchased a couple of Guitars from them in the past and find their catalogues (encyclopedias) for upcoming events are second to none. The quality, print , paper and packaging are themselves beautiful work.
Was hoping to make it to Nashville and make my way to the museum this spring. Swear I'm jinxed every time plans are made to go. Oh well . Fingers crossed will be able to in the fall.

There is hardly a day goes by that I don't think of Joe Chambers. While I never met him, he had a profound impact on me, I listen to 8x10 almost every day. I know he would be very proud of how well the MHoF is doing, I share this pride, You guys are doing Great.
