It's important to carefully consider my question and the context semantically.
Many people know "how" to do the (full, half, front, middle) splits (knowledge), but aren't physically able to "do" the splits, due to physiological limitations (ability).
It isn't hard to believe Larry (one of the most versatile dancers in the world) can physically "do" the splits.
However, in keeping with the principles of critical thinking, I must suspend judgement and reserve belief until something is proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
I have a deep aversion towards credulity.
