Porque España estaba intentando parecer algo que no era y se notaba mucho. En ese año, puesto que el anterior había ganado Rusia, se tenía la creencia que intentando parecer ruso o de Europa del este, a todos esos países pequeños vecinos les iba a convencer y se llevó un batacazo más.

Fue porque penalizaron a España aquel año los de la UER por haber emitido RTVE lo del partido de tenis en lugar de Eurovisión y emitir Eurovisión en diferido y de ahí el mal resultado de Soraya en Eurovisión, por haber hecho las cosas mal RTVE
