Earlier this week I decided I really wanted a proper Sunday dinner. Facebook read my mind like it usually does and sent me a post from the nice pub telling me about their Sunday dinners. They had a picture of their Sunday dinners and they looked nice so we went there. And they were nice. Very nice. Not perfect, the beef was over cooked as it usually is when you go out for Sunday dinner and it was a bit tasteless but all the vegetables and potatoes and the yorkshires and the gravy were excellent. So I’m going to give it a very solid and creditable 7/10. Beer was nice too. When I got home I had a little sleep as required by the ‘Sunday dinner in the pub rules’ and now I’m struggling to sleep. As you mention that Rylan guy and his quest to make the word ‘cinch’ into some sort of verb, I’d like to mention the latest advert that CZcams is serving up to me regularly. I haven;t watched it all yet because I want to keep some kind of jeopardy. It’s a man, an American man (I don’t think that’s hugely relevant but I’ve not watched it all as I say) who designed a new belt. Nowt wrong with that, make a new belt if you like. But he made a new belt because there are three things he hates about belts. Hates. I don’t understand how it’s possible to have such a strong emotion to something as benign as a belt. But hate belts he does. The first thing he hates are the holes. He hates that there are a lot of holes but only one is used at a time. He should come and have a pub lunch with me, then he’d know exactly why belts have more than one hole. I shall move on to the second thing he hates about belts next week. Can’t wait.

I made myself a 90 degree screwdriver 20 years ago. My toolkit is basic, but that is the best tool in the kit. It has got me out of trouble so many times!

I was never keen on the bonnet catch set up on the 75. Vw one's go wrong as well though respray him lovely welding mask that will help. You have had as much fun as I have with this wiring issue's. Somtimes the smallest of jobs take days I wouldn't worry about it. 👏👍

Ramps slipping as you drive forward? I always used to hook 'nother bit of carpet around each one. Back in those days I didn't know the little song though! 🙁

Yes we do! Our car is our bubble, I have great sessions at my windscreen.
After my first experience with those lovely bonnet latches and cables I’ve just ordered full replacement kits and filled them with extreme amounts of grease so I never have to fight with the damn things ever again😄

Back in the day when I owned Sierras, whenever I had to put the front wheels up on ramps, I used to nail a piece of wood to the road in front of the ramps. That was on the street in front of my house. Horrified looks from the neighbours were common.
Always a pain bonnet pulls have had a few over the years that just don't want to work great vid all the best donny

I found if you over tighten the nuts holding latches in they don't operate, but in process of still watching and pulling my hair out for you 😂
My XR3i failed the MOT when the bonnet decided it didn't want to play. It had opened perfectly shortly before!
I like metal music, dance music and anything else that's got a bit of energy, but I'm definitely an introvert. I'm not into football though. Good work on the bonnet on the 75, that's one ordeal that mine has yet to deal me, but I'm sure it will!

Since you mention a need for room, if you have a (rust-free) left-side ZR trophy blue front wing for sale, I would happily take it off your hands. I reckon it won’t make room for a whole car but small steps matter I suppose.
