- Young Sheldon’ Cast Celebrates 100 Episodes! The 100th episode of ‘Young Sheldon’ airs March 31 on CBS.
Young Sheldon is an American coming-of-age sitcom television series for CBS created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro. The series, set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, is a spin-off prequel to #TheBigBangTheory and begins with the character #SheldonCooper at the age of nine, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school. #IainArmitage stars as young Sheldon, alongside #ZoePerry, #LanceBarber, #MontanaJordan, #RaeganRevord, and #AnniePotts. #MattHobby was promoted to the main cast starting with the third season. #JimParsons, who portrays the adult Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, narrates the series and serves as an executive producer.

@@SKinSKorea Chuck Lorre shows always have a great carefully assembled cast, no matter what one thinks about certain actors (now), they always fit into their role perfectly.
I’m thankful they created a young Sheldon show before the Big Bang theory was over…we were not left empty especially with bringing some bbt casts voices in some episodes in this show
CBS would've had to cover that time slot in the interim- and they probably would have lost the ratings for it- judging by the quality of their other shows.

It's very well cast! From the title character to every bit part. . . Memaw's BF's to Georgie's GF, the neighbors, the church people. . . everyone feels real.
This little man is such a great actor. He’s so bubbly, happy, playful in the interview. Such a contrast to Sheldon’s more serious personality. He does such a great job!
I cannot believe that Montana's real accent is that. I thought it was fake.
He is the only actor on the show who is actually from the state of Texas, and my family who lives in Texas has accents just like him. So it's not surprising since he is an actual Texan. Certainly fits the show well tho😂

The fact that the kids wrote a letter requesting play space is so wholesome. And the fact that the company decided to build a park just for them shows that it'sreally a good working environment ❤😊
That does say a lot about Ian and reagan and good on the studio realizing kids need to be kids and making them a park was really how things should be done. You know the kids appreciated being taken serious. 😊
Great casting... the cast really do look like their older counterparts in TBBT
with thousands of choices, how hard could it have been to narrow them down to a group who resemble the 'big bang' cast members? also, the young versions of penny, raj, and howard really just had bit parts in a scene (someday, we'll be together) from one episode. that doesn't add up to 'great casting'- a prep thespian advisor could have done it...

Not a big fan of Big Bang, but this show is well written and acted-- great ensemble and regulars. I love that it doesn't focus on Sheldon, and it shows everyone as flawed, but good.

Yeah because tbbt is about smart people that triggers most dumb people so they don't like it much 😅. Young Sheldon is mostly a smart boy adopting a group of other not so smart people.
@@Ajaykrishna97_ Nah-- TBBT is about annoying people. It's about train obsession and where to sit and really NOT smart stiuff-- pretty stupid and trivial stuff and being petty. YS is about family and friendship and deals with real issues and real people.

I am so glad I decided to watch this series! Finished all 5 seasons in a week! So much fun and stress free series! I so love the effortless humor and the characters nailed it! Cant wait for next seasons!!!

All of the cast members are all so humble and grateful just to be on the show…what a wonderful cast! Iain Armitage reminds me of my younger brother.
Young Sheldon is by far, my favorite show! Aside from it being truly entertaining, it provides a nice, and very much needed mental escape from all of the bad things going on these days. I LOVE the characters, and wish I could give them all a hug, and say "Thanks!".
My wife and I dearly love Young Sheldon and watch every week and binge reruns. Neither of us care for TBBT at all. That is a testament to how this show stands on its own as a winner.
Didnt even realize they've grown up and Sheldon already has a deep voice he is really hitting puberty like in s5. It must feel nice to be parents of these kids there is a series where you can really look back when your kids were still young.
The show just keeps on getting better. It has been so plot-filled recently and I love it.
I could even say I love this show more than TBBT. It's so enjoyable for all ages and even with people who has different senses of humor. The jokes are easier to swallow and enjoy.
It's so simple but also funny and wholesome.

happens on every sitcom featuring kids in the cast. if the producers ever get clever enough, they might look into shooting two series concurrently with a given set of child cast members. that could be tricky with the Labor Board/SAG's regulations, but, who knows?
Obsessed with this show. I connected with one of my elderly clients with this show. She’s 87, and we just had a full conversation about the series.
She does leave her home, and she tells me..what keeps me in a good mood is “Young Sheldon”. I had just finished watching an episode before seeing her. It was great.
I have never watched the Big Bang theory but I am a huge fan of young Sheldon. I loved it so much. I was a mother raising kiddos in the 80s so I love looking back on those times and relate well to them. I also had a very smart daughter with Asperger’s syndrome who reminds me of Sheldon.
Just finished 6 seasons of Young Sheldon on Netflix and I really hope there's more seasons left

Just finished all seasonsssss in like 1 week or shorter, now im re-watching it again. This is so good. My comfort tv program. Feels like home.
When I first heard of this show coming I thought oh this can't be good and it isn't good-it's great!
So many of the episodes contain real-life situations which are funny and touching and avoid being cruel or coarse, Love the show!

This show is truly incredible. I appreciate the humour and compassion sprinkled throughout so much, I also am thankful that they omitted a laugh track. I laugh so much on my own without one! I'm sad the 7th season will be the final one. But I'm so thankful this show was created, truly, everyone should watch it. It's amazing. My go-to comfort show for sure.

Loved The Big Bang Theory and love this show! The characters/actors, the setting, the humor, the pase, everything! This show brings me joy!
My opinion is simply this, the show's success started with 'Sheldon', but it morphed spectacularly with the family; the casting selection NAILED IT!! -- they could not have picked a better cast for this show. There's something for everyone to enjoy; every character and person is well-worth watching and enjoying.
Come on, Annie Potts' character is the grandmother most of us would love to have had as our own. Raegan 'Missy' balances out Sheldon incredibly well; I have to say, there'd be no Sheldon without Missy's snarky-sharp wit. And 'Georgie'; I think many of us young boys from the 80s can easily identify with him in many ways... he's a hoot. Zoe and Lance do a great job at playing the parents; they're the mom and dad you kind of wish you had growing up, well kind of, but they are definitely lovable parents. I'd even go as far to say, even if you were not a fan of 'The Big Bang Theory,' I do believe 'Sheldon' has far more to offer a wider, general audience. It's a fantastic show, and I wish it much success as it continues to move forward.

The show exceeded my expectations. I ended up liking this even more than TBBT.

I just started watching the show this yearand I love it! I love everyone having the spot light now and then. They could not have cast better people for each role. Every day I watch until I get to the end then I start again. Thank you for giving me a lot of laughs and enjoyment! I think you can do 3 more seasons yet! There is a lot of material you can write on.❤

Chuck Lorre is for me the best comedy show produce în the world atm. TBBT, Two and a half Men, and Young Sheldon. These shows are all tied up in an amazing universe.
PS: Young sheldon is directly tied to TBBT, and TBBT is tied to Teo and a half Men by one single scene:When Charlie Harper meets Raj Koothrapalli in a restaurant. It's just SOO easy to miss this detail but i fricking love it
Lance Barber a.k.a. George is the best character in my opinion because he reminds me a lot of my dad and my dad just passed

uh, the star of the show is growing rapidly, as well. unfortunately (maybe fortunately for him) he looks less and less like jim parsons every episode.

Love the van episode when Georgie wouldn't listen to his dad to get rid of it but then pulled in girlfriend's driveway and her dad said NO WAY you're taking my girl out on a date in this LOL.
Funny and protective of family all at the same time ❤️ the part where a rat was crawling on Georgie sleeping in the van then shot of dad smiling in bed.
