Sir it's not cost effective. In villages we use to smoke areas with dried neem leaf. It's more economical. No need to use camphor as our objective is to make smoke, which will last long than burning. Jai hind.

I tried this method with small quantity as an experiment in my garden ,but it did not work.
Mosquitoes went away for few seconds , may be until the smoke was there...ultimately I used odomos.
Please suggest another natural remedy.

Gardening is my passion, Dr Agarwal , try to use pure camphor instead what u use , it's full of wax & less camphor in it. Pure camphor is costly than this one.

Hello, thanks for all information . I am from Karachi . I graw basi, lemongress, mint and neem. But nothing work on mosquito.
It doesnt work. Tried it. The whole mixture burns down in 3 - 5 mins. After that it stops emitting smoke.
Simple and easy to reachable thing are = Scull of Coconut + Neem leaf and burn half and spread smoke surrounding.

for snails use normal salt (namak) springal salt were you see
Pick it up and burn it.
Putting salt on the opening of every snails... they will die and they are great fertilizer for your plants beware of the un wanted smell on the decaying snails.
So daily we have to burn 50 rupees....

Great :just burned my neighbourhood to the ground in the drought we are having. Joking.
Seriously, we can't have open flame here, in drought land.
We use Smouldering coffee grounds. I am testing mothballs being hung in the north (shadiest) side of my fruit trees and it seems effective.I did find a good squirt of organic vinegar and neem powder and baking soda in my pond killed most mozzies off within 24 hours. Saves me buying the mosquito bait you can order online or buy in stores.
Can we replace organic vinegar with white vinegar .How much baking soda in vinegar is required and can neem powder be replaced with neem oil.

Jun Rey Badian use bay leaves, mint oil (if you don’t have mint oil use other oils you have available such as: eucalyptus, lemongrass oil, oregano oil, citronella oil, or any repellent oil), cloves, camphor and light them up in a safe pan or aluminum container.. please if have kids around keep them away from the fire. 😊
