Just for reference, my Resonance in this build is: 2190. My Combat Rating is: 14401
5* bottled hope.. is this build even feasible for someone who didn't spend over $1k?
@@kpNov23 I just mean 2/5 bottled hope. They sell for around 55k plat on my server. you should be able to buy one within a few weeks of play.

I applied your advice to my guppy crusader alt who is 524 and maybe 600 resonance and it was a vast improvement. I had all the legendary pieces, crafted two pieces Urge, added blessed pebble, and did a fair bit of the reforging just with regular stones. So a long way from everything but progress. I learned a lot from you I'm encouraged to keep at it. Thanks!

I really love this build I'm a F2P new player sitting on Paragon 280 currently, I couldn't get my hands on Akarat's Rebuke so I switched to Justice without Favor till I reach Hell 6. Justice without favor is great. I ran fire circle for the majority of the game up until the last month or so.
Thanks for this! Just started over a month ago, so am now a BK, but have been considering a Sader. Now I understand that gear wise, its not that easy to switch. Saved and subbed for when I decide to do so.

@@WraithRPG just wanted to say I’ve switched and its been maybe 1 week? Essence farming going well, but I noticed I’m much less tanky because I don’t have lifesteal like the BK. I love this Crusader class though. So fulfilling to use skills.

Yap I've been using almost the same built except, I use banner duration and condemn damage increase on my off hand. But u have convinced me to work on beneficial duration which I haven't.. Thx.

Good to find a Crusader build vid, not a popular CZcams class lol.
I've been on the fence with swapping to Barb or waiting it out for the new class. I get the utility of the Crusader but I'd like to feel personally impactful in a fight whether it be solo or otherwise. I have changed to Judgement/Banner/Condemn/Sacred fire/Spinning Shield with Arrowkeeper/Akarats/Cuisse/Cradle of Peb/Bristle & Sinkhole. It severally lacks mobility but the damage has been pretty nuts.
I can see your build here potentially being better as it increases mobility significantly, moreso than barb by the looks of it.
Makes me rethink swapping to Barb.
Thanks for checking out the channel! I have a bunch of videos on Crusader you can check out. I love Crusader! But I'll definitely check out the Blood Knight once it's out. I think you'll find Barb much weaker in terms of solo play unless you're extremely min/maxed or just super high reso.
@@WraithRPG Yeah I'm pretty much F2P so I haven't dropped masses of money into it.
I'm still trying to get Hornsplitter, it's elusive. I've been curious to try it with Torrential Refrain and Akarats chest to see if there is anymore burst in that. I would have thought Hornsplitter would keep attempting to reapply the dot while condemn would be burning it.
@@MjollnirMox some good synergy if you can get a full DoT build going. Using like everlasting torment gem, cuisse of skorn pants and the baquet of Eyes set.

Cursed gear is pretty bad. I’m digging Nettled in PvP with Mountebanks and a Frozen heart gem. But other than that they are pretty lack luster. But, I’m still testing!
thanks for the build :) just personally i need a build with max 2 star GEM as it is nearly impossible to get the recommended 5 star gems with a casual play :D

I’m a new player so I just wanted to ask if there has been any balancing patches that would change this?

when I use fire pants and play on PC, the character/horse will just attack and move to the position of my mouse, but not the closest target... any method to fix this? When using normal pants the horse does not have this bug...
Sounds like a bug...and there are a lot of bugs. I rebind my mouse to move with no attack and put my primary on a new key bind.
Does Holy Banner with (Arrowkeeper) considered to be a beneficial effect ?

Can we use thynder horse instead of fiery steed?
Yeah absolutely! If you prefer it, I think its a good essence.
Wouldn't the chest that causes the fire from c.o.l to surround you be better? I'm using green urge set with 2 flagellation. It seems to be meta rn. I'm curious about the best gems too. Bottled hope bile and bsj seem like priority.
I prefer Akarat's rebuke. It sets up more combos and effect triggers and has full uptime. CoL is good too.
@@WraithRPG I'll try that out today too. I'm exploring all kinds of different builds. Sader seems very customizable.

Guys, what are good combos for 2 or 1 start gems on the Crusader especially with this build? I don't think I will spend any money and I'd like to just rank up the 1 star gems until rank 10 before i even think about 2 stars first since they seem to be the quickest, let alone 5 star legendaries. Why I say this is because having all gems at rank 5 probably matters a lot for early grind because of that 5% drop chance. And upgrading gems to rank 5 quickly as f2p means using 1 star gems for the most part. If anyone has better ideas about this let me know, I've only been playing for one month but I'm trying to get better quickly

Power & Command - You'll get a lot of value out of this one if you're using Akarat's Rebuke.
Pain Clasp - Can be a huge damage boost as long as you're using a skill or gem that is applying a continuous damage effect
1*
Berserker's Eye - Best 1 star Gem for flat damage increase
Blessed Pebble - Incredible for Crusader
Carsen's Invigoration - Primary Attack Speed
Everlasting Torment - Dot that increases Attack speed
These are the 6 I would go for as fully F2P

@@WraithRPG thanks so much wraith! I love crusader and looked at other classes, don't think I ever want to switch. This is definitely what I need. Only question is, if I'm below my level what can I substitute the Berserker's Eye for? Or is the attack boost worth the handicap?
@@_burd. don't worry about the magic find bonus , it really does nothing. the dmg on BE is good no matter what.
@@WraithRPG uhh one last question if you don't mind. how do i know which skills are continous damage. sounds stupid but, i genuinely cant tell since a lotta effects look flashy and continuous. which skills / effect are continuous?
what do you think of treasure hunter as main paragon?
If you’re world farming constantly you may get a little value out of it. But in general I think it’s pretty bad. Even with the new paragon update I don’t run it with any build.

Purple globes are yummy!
I may be missing something. I thought banner was considered a skill and not a buff. So it would not trigger vithu or BH.
It 100% triggers Bottled Hope and Urges set.
Would like to use this build but even just one piece of Akarat Rebuke drop at HELL 6, not very beginner friendly at all...
yeah, there are a lot of legendary items in the game now. So it does take some time to get some of the newer items.

1 - 3% Beneficial Effect Duration on all pieces first
2 - 4% Primary Attack Damage
3 - 3% Critical Hit Damage
4 - 2% All Skill Damage
5 - 4% Execute Damage (Damage Done to Enemies below 30% Life)

Are you asking about the legendary essences?
None of the items in this build have a level requirement. Only the Chest piece, Akarat's Rebuke can be found in Hell VI or higher.

Have tons of money, is all you need. Pure pay to win game.
My warband has spent very little money in the game compared to most of the powerful players and we are highly competitive in all aspects of the game. I've had fun without having "tons of money"!
@WraithRPG matters not. Fact is, this is the future of gaming. Call it free to get people to play. Then extract more money from them then they would ever pay for a full game. Even if some never pay a penny, the never see a fully fleshed out game because most of it is behind pay walls. This game is purely a pay to win game. You say you competing against whales. But really how much in total have you spent? I've seen the model and you can't get end game gear without paying.

Yes. Absolutely! The leveling is fun and there is a huge catch up mechanic for paragon. I'd avoid spending money and you'll have a great time aside from PvP.

Man if you think how you intro into this is "Beginner friendly" then i have som really bad news for you.
Myself i just needed a decent guide that was current as im 35 and been playing these games since i was 8 or 9.
But beginner friendly would usually mean you explain what each thing you talk about is. How it works. And how to minmax those areas.
You dive right into straight into basically minmax talk and yeh whilst myself a 35 year old who played the Diablo games at least once a week usually several days a week all of this information is digestable because i grew with he game and its new features.
But to co sider this a beginner friendly guide you'd need to elaborate what half of the things you mention are. You have to assume the player knows nothing and vuild your guide around that.
This is like a Moderate to Elite player guide imo. And a good one at that. But its in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM "Beginner Friendly"
