Herr Braun is perhaps the world's leading expert in laser weaponry, and his presence in the Kavango means that the Soviet bloc is planning some sort of laser mission.
Rapid fire was his last good movie. The crow was just a over hyped, revenge movie. If you look away, from the fact that he was back from the dead. It's just your standard revenge flick
Hey this is the same user Dyli, I amend this statement in that there are in fact several different films in which Ernest Borgnine blasts away at shoulders with a shotgun. I had only seen Marty and this movie at that point, lol.
That's odd, the dvd i have of it says nothing about turner, footage is used constantly in third party videos and there seems to be no consequence. If it is copyrighted, no one has enforced this in the least.
Furthermore, Laser Mission is not in the public Domain, and will not be until the 2060's, According to the copyright office, it is registered to Turner Home Entertainment. Likely. Either the owners are not enforcing their copyright, or they have licensed it to people like Riff Trax and the other major groups who have used it. Likely both.
Ferreira, I believe, is claiming ownership in the collection of images, in the sense that he arranged the order of the images and how they relate to the song. Whether his use of the song and the movie is authorized, or whether it would have a vaild fair use defense, I do not know. Also, I couldn't find a copyright registration for this song for Knopfler- it is possible that he does not own it, especially as we do not know the arrangements under which he made it.
Dyli, It;s been a long time since you posted this, but to answer your question, no. The song and the movie have separate copyrights. If the movie was in the public domain, the only use of that song that is in the public domain is the specific usage of it in the movie- therefore, you could theoretically post a clip of the movie where the song plays, but you could not post the song itself ripped from the movie.
Dyli the song copyright should have been handled separately from the movie so I doubt it, it didn't help that the movie had no soundtrack but played this song over and over and over
This would appear to be the trailer for the movie... My music copyright is correct but who is Alana Ferreira? He isn't the Director or the Composer so plainly shouldn't be claiming copyright on our work. Can he please amend
Hey David just wanted to say I’ve jammed out to this song so hard over the years starting when I was 13 and have gone on to become a music producer myself and just wrote and recorded my first theme song for a major motion picture, so I really appreciate the inspiration!!
I am Santa Claus. also Vocal tracks written for movies are usually made by the score composer, and the hired singer only sings the song. That's why artists can't play the song in any of his albums or concerts.
If it's by a Knopfler, it's 100% pure uncut 80s dad rock. It's a nice, quick, simple song that was unfortunate to be connected to a movie that flopped and went straight to video. Not for the effort of Brandon Lee who himself was great, he just had no real direction and the rest of the production was flailing.
It is like the Ultimate Movie cheese space epic :) "Space Mutiny" and the quite cool 80s energy song "The Edge of a Dream" by Steven McClintock czcams.com/video/RO9Pxl7Y3lo/video.html
Brandon made this movie fun. He had a great time making it! Thanks for posting this.
Finalmente achei a música do filme do Brandon, missão suicida 😁✌🏻🇧🇷

lol
Why didn’t you tell me before ?!?
Soviet is guilty of everything in everywhere...
David Knopfler should have made more music like this, something people can move to..
Rest in piece Brandon lee or should I say mercenary man.
This song rules.
Only in the late 80's/early 90's could you name a song 'mercenary man'
And enjoy it!!!
I'd say 1986-1991 would be your window for that lol...
He has very nice voice!
Mark and David are the best brother!
Thank you very much for posting!
localhero635 We demand more exclamation points!!!!!!!!
I just dropped in to say "bon appetit".
God Bless Brandon and his father how we missed them when they were gone
#TheFilm was also on point, Lee at his best!

He sounds just like Mark !
John Vatatzes Thanks Captain Obvious. Go back to your terrible commercials.

the horns are amazing.
Why is this song not on any music store or streaming service?
0:29 "It's like a dream within a dream..." but not enough to infringe on the hit film Inception.
"Laser Mission, is that you?!?"
I love this....
Tu nous manques beaucoup brandon ❤

From 7 years into a terrible, dystopian future
I had no idea how right I was.
Yeah my tv is acting up and I can't tell what the name of the movie they're riffing. I just seen Brandon lee. It was like the last couple minutes.

@ChineseCommando Cheezy, yes. TOTALLY AWESOME?! DEFINITELY! In what other movie will you see Ernest Borgnine blasting away at soldiers with a shotgun?

This film is a cult classic now. The real question is what have you done lately?
@@detroitrockcity3389 Released a few albums, graduated college, bought a house, started grad school...need I go on?
Is this song made by Dire Straits?
No, David left Dire Straits in 1980 and this song & movie came out in 1989.
