they need more actors when you recognize the actor playing the pilot in one episode, and an ATC in another lol
Ya huh! 🤣
Thankfully they don't hire the same person playing both the pilot AND the passanger in the same episode

That Garuda Indonesia Flight 152 crashed near Medan, happened in my 17th birthday in September 1997. I had a distant aunt on that plane. I remember when my cousin told me the horror story of how he could only identified his aunt by her favorite purple batik dress because he can't recognize her from the destroyed corpse anymore. The story still haunts me to this day... 😢
I remember watching the news coverage of TWA 800 as a kid. That was the first major plane crash I’d ever heard about and it scared the hell out of 8 year old me.
I was just about to say the same thing.
TWA 800 as well as JAL 123 gives me the creeps about flying
Me too 😖
@@thunderturbine8860 not pam am flight 108????????????/
Damn your a old ass woman now.
The first flight, TWA 800, there is a tragic tale of a mother. I remember the interview conducted with a mother of a young girl who was on the way home from college. She called her mom and asked for her mother's opinion since the airline offered cheaper ticket if she took the later flight. I think late night flight or something. The mother told her daughter to stay put on the doomed flight. I just hope the family can move on with such terrible tragedy.
I've seen that episode... I can feel the mother's grief... I hope she doesn't blame herself anymore. :(
That interview was from the _Seconds From Disaster_ episode.
My stomach dropped reading that :(
Of course the mother blames herself, but nobody could have known. Nobody. It was a random, benign advice. The blame should go where it should go, not an ounce of it should be on her.
That's horrible. But nobody knew in advance😢
i hope that Air China flight 's passenger who forgot his passport wouldn't be blamed a lot

TWA 800 has to be one of the worst plane disasters I've ever learned of. Alongside Swiss 111 Alaskab261 and the 2 recent MCAS disasters. Cant imagine what those poor people went through , what a horribly terrifying way to go.
That's true mate . Awful

@@kunti_putra I know about it
@@kunti_putra Is that the collision between the Cargo plane and commercial plane full of children? That was Horrible 😔. I tend to think of the saying " it's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end" when it comes to certain air crashes such as the Germanwings and 2 M.C.A.S disasters. It's just unimaginable to comprehend the horror those passangers must have gone through knowing they were surely about to die. Swiss 111 hit the water at a force of 350gs at night. I don't think they even knew what hit em. Same goes for TWA 800. At least I hope they would have been unconcious as soon as the explosion occurred I don't even want to think of the latter. But the previous 2 I mentioned (germ. and MCAS) those passangers were surely aware all through to the end,Just terrible.

I learned how flight work and what problem's they faced ...this channel is my favourite 😀... about aviation..and sad 😭 moments when I saw distribing plane crash ,how they see there death until last moments and I fell about the missed family members...
It's just so scary seeing these accidents, I dont really have to fly anywhere. I've flown about 5 times in my life and the whole time I did I was ALWAYS paranoid slightly, the slightest bit of turbulence made me scared. I hate to see tragedy happen to anybody who doesnt deserve it. It's a shame that each crash makes PRESENT flights safer.
Mate, dont worry - the most dangerous part of a plane trip is actually driving to and from the airport, rather than the actual flying itself
Oh yeah, in the TWA flight 800, when they noticed that 1 of the lights is flickering, that's a sign that there are damaged wires in the plane, too bad they should've improve their wire fixing. But because that failed, a short circuit jumps to another wire then into the overheated fuel due to the air conditioners' strong heating power.
???????
well.. I still think it was a missile. I've noticed they go so much out of their way to explain that it wasn't a missile and they over explain why they think that. Sorry.. but I ain't buying it.
@@sexynelson100 Proof it was a missle?

Hey Peter Parker wouldn't have time for full episodes. Only clips. He has collage applications (depending on universe). A job, school, family, and superheroing. All he got time for is cliffnotes
I like this program, make us smarter about aviation shortcoming and reality.
We are exposed to tragedy like peers nest to us.
The guy who forgot his passport is a really good example of the butterfly effect. He forgot his password -> 90% of his group got out the crash alive

"Is the fuel flammable?"
Well jeez I hope so
I think it was meant to be taken as how flammable it was. Because different fuel types burn and ignite at different temperatures and sources. So, not all fuel can be ignited by an electrical spark, for example. I think that's what they meant to ask
The Passengers on TWA 800 died in the worst way and honestly caused me to have a fear of flying for a while.

These and “Seconds From Disaster” are completely different programs. Although both programs did cover some of the same crashes (ex: TWA 800) so I get why they might get mixed up.

@Carstz Gaming what a lovely comment to show what a kind thoughtful person you are I feel bad that someone needs to comment as if you are taking an English Literature exam and felt the need to correct your spelling.
Sadly, I believe this is going on more often than you or I might suspect. More people who I know and love, intelligent brave people will no longer fly bc they feel it is too risky to trust your very life to those who are supposed to be insuring the safety of the planes and even the trustworthiness of those who pilot them. The common adage that it's much safer to fly than to drive is no longer reassuring even if statistics may support the statement. And then when you consider all the near misses that are difficult to track and to count, you have to wonder if it's worth the financial and other costs to even fly at all anymore if you don't have to. Will I keep flying? Probably. Will I feel secure? Probably not.
Thank You😊

Video title states 'every crash from season 11'. Absolutely not true. These are from Season 17 not 11. The first 2 clips are from episode 4. Clips 3+4 are from episode 1. Clips 5+6 are from episode 2. Clips 7+8 are from episode 3. Clip 9 is from episode 5. Clip 10+11 are from episode 6. Clip 12 is from episode 7. Clip 13+14 are from episode 8. And lastly clip 15 is from episode 10. Might want to double check next time.
Hiya! I see what you are thinking but actually you’re both right. “Air crash investigations” is a television show based in Canada and the uk. These episodes are of Season 17 of that show. In America, these episodes are re-dubbed (changing the narrator), and distributed on the Smithsonian channel. These re-dubbings and distributions only started after season 6 of Air crash investigations, so theres only been 11 “Air Disaster” seasons.

Amazon Prime Video for purchase. I own seasons 13-16 by buying them.
To watch the episodes from the last few years you'd have to purchase or view them through a streaming service, with a few exceptions on CZcams. As for the VERY first episodes, right now there's a channel uploading the episodes from seasons 1 & 2, which were first aired beginning around 2003 and is fairly different from what is aired today.
They made a filming error on the first one. The cockpit breaks off, but the gages are still lit up.
Well the electrics are in the nose gear so its possible the light was still working. Even the APU is run by battery and it could function or the Ram air turbine supplied juice. See what the videographer says. I'm just a fan now.
@@sharoncassell9358 APU is in the tail, Rat and batteries are in the center of the plane. Rat has to deploy before it generates power, and the nose broke off forward of the RAT.
It's a production oversight.
There is no closure to between accidents. It's like there is an unbroken stream of information without any closure and suddenly you are listening to another accident. Very poor construction of the video.
Let's use the reputation of pilot to justify a crash. Why not preventing such pilot from flying first of all ?
My favorite show
TWA Flight 800 was flying and it exploded mid air due to a circuit catching fire which called and explosion killing 230 passengers and the crew members. It was June 6 1996 I think

So sad but inspiring
How the heck do they detect if a part was functioning and intact before the impact???!!
When they find the 2 black boxes one records the movements of the plane. So when they investigate they can see what happened during flight. The other one records what pilots said during the flight before the incident.
