That's a South Carolina Corn Snake, not a copperhead. They are very bright colored in SC. Copperheads have a Hershey kiss shaped splotch on their sides, and corn snakes have circular saddles, mostly on the top. Also, copperheads tend to be fatter, and their tail is blunt.

Some boneheaded killed a corn/rat snake. Copperheads have a different pattern and a heftier body. If fact, copperheads, water moccasins and rattle snakes all have heavy set bodies.

Dang!!! That's a Big Copperhead! One lucky hunter, good he spotted it👍 Oklahoma has them to, they do blend in good with the leaves and are aggressive. Great finds there, besides the 🐍 👌

Guess we had a detection gathering today. Went to one of my favorite spots and two people were already detecting there. No Civil War buttons. Lots of bottle caps, spent cartridges and assorted bits of other metallic trash.

Aqua Chigger a.k.a The Chigg sent me. I'm in the market for my first detector machine. I've narrowed it down to Garrett AT Max and the Equinox 800. This CORVID problem has made me have to give up on the thought of a detector this year.

Garrett, made is USA and much less, all the respect to the Nox but that Garrett will perform. Learning how to use the machines potential is the most important thing up at that level unit.

I live in Arizona and and really struggle seeing this. It hurts my heart that the best chance of finding something for me is someone's spare change. The most historic thing I've found was a 1930's Ford hubcap. I have an AT Gold, just nowhere good to use it, and the places I locate have been severely picked over already by snowbirds.
