- Robert Horry played for some all time great coaches - but doesn't think Greg Popovich likes him very much. He also sites Tim Duncan's reaction to his name being brought up at the Hall of Fame, and thinks Tim should have clapped a little harder because Rob bailed him out in 2005. That is where the bitterness comes from on his end I am guessing towards Tim Duncan and Pop, it's personal to him it seems.... He is a bitter guy. Tim might be a little salty he says, you have been the one who is salty for years towards the Spurs and he puts that off on others. That is who Tim is though..... He is not overly excited about anything and yes I would feel slighted some IF someone said a guy was 10 times better than me.

@@felixadrian6439 i have a lot of respect for horry. mostly because im a rockets fan and he never wanted to leave houston. also the fact that he stuck up for mario ellie against danny ainge by throwing a towel in his face. i understand spurs fans not liking him though. you have to also understand that horry battled the spurs for most of his career and never really fit in there

Robert Horry has the right to speak his mind, he's earned it. If he was on a team with LeBron and made the shots he made, Skip would lead the chorus of people saying he saved LeBron, but since it was Shaq, Kobe and Duncan people seem to down play what he did. He's got 7 rings and was an intricate part of winning them too.

Spurs gave this bum two titles and he still feels slighted. Horry was a role player, a good one at that but also the most lucky of all time for getting to play with legends like Olajuwon, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, Ginobili, Parker. everytime he mentions the spurs he should start by saying thank you, because he'd be two rings short if it wasn't for them.

Robert Horry is the one that’s bitter lol. He wanted the spurs to re-sign him and he’s had an axe to grind ever since. Anyone who knows Basketball knows that what Robert said about Timmy and Hakeem is absolute nonsense. I don’t believe Tim Duncan is worried about that at all lol. I’m a spurs fan, and I will always love big shot Bob, but it’s just a shame he would carry a grudge around all this time.

What I hear Rob saying is “I liked Hakeem more than Tim.” And that’s cool. But to say that Hakeem was 10x the player as Tim is just demonstrably wrong and silly. Just look at their two careers. No comparison. I always liked Horry and he did play an important part of the ‘05 championship. But he forgets - he wouldn’t have gotten that ring - not ever close - without Duncan. He should show some respect if he wants people to show it to him. If Duncan came out and said “Kerr was 10x the three point specialist than Horry”, how do you think that would go?
Put your clown shoes on. Horry saw Hakeem and Tim in practice and the locker room. Tim had to be challenged for that killer instinct. Hakeem always had it. Tim can go play with his micro machines.

A second year player and a rookie? Lol Parker didn't make a all star team until 2006 wasn't all nba until 2009. Manu made 2 all star games his whole career first one in 2005 and all nba until 2008. Superstars ?? Lol Leonard didn't make all nba or all star until 2016. How many rings has Pop won before or after Duncan ?? Lol !!!!!

Tim Duncan the only player in nba history to win 4 titles without a all nba selected team mate. 99, 03, 05, 07 not one all nba teammate. Hakeem had Clyde in 95, jordan had pippen 5of 6. Not lebron or kobe or Shaq or bird or magic or kareem have done that. Duncan also won all four without a nba 6th man award winner that year. Bird had that twice 84 and 86 and jordan once in 96

can you guys speak about the 07 series suns vs spurs where the nba fixed the series robbed the suns and the the whole tim Donaghy incident since he was part of that series. you wont your scared and cowards.
No.... The series was only tied 2-2 after the Suns came back and won that game in which the Spurs mostly controlled throughout and blew it at the end. The Suns were OWNED by the Spurs yearly, they beat them 4-1 a year later in the playoffs in 08 to shut that talk up...... The Spurs just owned them in 03-05-07-08, deal with it.
