Marlin a Singing and talking are two very different things. Jungkook in general has really good pronunciation but lacks in grammar and vocabulary. You can't do much without grammar and vocabulary. If he lives in an English speaking country for like 6 months and does that whole "memorising 100 English words a day" method then he will quickly improve. I always say pronunciation is half the battle and the other half is grammar and vocabulary when it comes to language study.

Suga is the one who understands but doesn't really speak lol. Possibly he's too shy, or (more probably) he is a perfectionist and doesn't want people to hear his mistakes and accent, so he'll start speaking when he feels he's good enough. There are however multiple clips of him interrupting the translation in their American interviews, already answering the question (including the now infamous "You know BTS?" line).

Late response) you don't need to know the language to sing in it. you can learn the lyrics phonetically, a lot of the singers do that. I know songs in 6 languages, but I only know 3.5)))
Yess. Im American but I can sing along to K-pop songs fine without much practice, I only was introduced to k-pop a month ago. I'm trying to learn Korean though and it's super hard. I'm only 1/3 of the way through the alphabet.

Seems like korean people add an "u" sound at the end of every english word, I'm brazilian and we tend to add an "y" sound like j-hope did with englishY, it's nice to see those differences!

If they wanted to write "speak" in Hangul, it would be 스피크, or seu-pi-keu. Like if RM was still Rap Monster, the Monster part is 몬스터. SP and ST don't go together, and a consonant doesn't go by itself.

No, Suga is definitely second best. Pronunciation isn't as important as listening, understanding, correct grammar and vocabulary in which Suga is way better. Most of the time you can tell that he understands what is being said in English, he just doesn't have the confidence to speak more.
Nah suga defo is the second best. He just doesnt talk much in interviews but when he does, it's straight english without fillers and has pretty wide vocabulary.
Jungkook IS technically the best, because his intonation, inflection, and annunciation of the language is most like a native speaker, he obviously isn’t as fluent but he sounds the most naturally of any of them when he does try to speak it.
You can try react to any of Jungkook's English cover. He sounds like native sometimes and got a good pronunciation. When I first listen to it I didn't know that he is Korean. He did a really good job although he can't speak in English.

You must try now a 2018 compilation ! Basically RM is always perfect Suga knows the language very well. He can understand it 90% without a translator. But still he's not that open to replying back. JK's English has so much improved from this. His pronunciation is always perfect in covers. He also is like Suga now.. able to understand it half way.. but lacking confident to reply back. Cuz he don't want to spoil the language. He wants to do things perfectly without making mistakes. Both of them are like 'Speak correctly. Or else don't speak at all' And Jhope and Jin has their own style always.. Jin has improved a lot. He can understand it very well now and also reply back alone without a help. Nah suga defo is the second best. He just doesnt talk much in interviews but when he does, it's straight english without fillers and has pretty wide vocabulary.
Jungkook IS technically the best, because his intonation, inflection, and annunciation of the language is most like a native speaker, he obviously isn’t as fluent but he sounds the most naturally of any of them when he does try to speak it.
You can try react to any of Jungkook's English cover. He sounds like native sometimes and got a good pronunciation. When I first listen to it I didn't know that he is Korean. He did a really good job although he can't speak in English.

You've probably heard this a gazillion times already, but RM learned English first from watching Friends, and Chandler is his favorite character. I think that's why he sounds like a cartoon or an announcer most of the timeu. LOL
Well some of those clips are very old so I definitely think you guys should do an updated version maybe a part 2 of the more recent videos where they speak english because they have improved a lot!!!

Suga knows the language very well. He can understand it 90% without a translator. But still he's not that open to replying back.
JK's English has so much improved from this. His pronunciation is always perfect in covers. He also is like Suga now.. able to understand it half way.. but lacking confident to reply back. Cuz he don't want to spoil the language. He wants to do things perfectly without making mistakes.
Both of them are like 'Speak correctly. Or else don't speak at all'
And Jhope and Jin has their own style always..

Namjoon is fluent in English, he taught himself by watching Friends. Jin was an exchange student in Australia I think... The others practice English a lot, Namjoon helps them with it.
