- It is one thing picking up a book written by an Africa author about African Leadership and than realising that the foreword of the book is written by the one and only first black president of the Republic of South Africa Nelson Mandela. The most big thing and great wisdom comes with knowing that the African writer is also an owner of a massive 650 Hectares successful farm in the country and contributes a great deal in uplifting the community and the economy. Come to a tour of this black owned farm with me and be inspired.
The farm is a beef breeding farm focusing on Boran and Bonsmara Cattle. It is located in Mpumalanga and owned by Dr. Reuel Khoza a South Africa book author, an academic, Business man, a farmer and community builder. Read more about him online for your own knowledge. Great Video. I love farm life and me being a New Yorker the dream of farm life was capsulated in this video. I hear great things about Mpumalanga and the video proves this to be the case. You can have a mix of modern technology lifestyle with old fashioned farm life. I prefer this kind of lifestyle as I get older.

Ma Velile that was a beautiful demonstration of how land ownership is in South Africa. There is a lot of misconceptions that Blacks don't own land in South Africa and staff. Whereas an average black middle class would have both a rural homestead with mini farming and house in the suburbs where they work in any sector in the economy..The insult we get from people that we are oppressed and uneducated is crazy.
There are still issues about land that need to be resolved but yes, black South Africans are hard workers, they know what they deserve and are grabbing it. We need to help young people because they are the most facing unemployment. There is a way but not in the cities. 🙏🏾❤️🇿🇦
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV I need capital myself. At home we have vast lands and my brother and uncle worked in farms in Cape Town but the owner died of old age and they came back. The knowledge they have is of somebody who studied Agriculture at degree level. All they ask of me is to get them a tractor, trailer, plougher and planter. They have amazing irrigation techniques and they don't know English but did workshops in Afrikaans travelled to Namibia for conferences. If it was not for capital they would have taken that farm and run it perfectly. The worry I have is the passion that's dying now. I'm asking God to give me strength this year and get some capital. I've been attending auctions in Kempton Park by Atlas. Amazing equipment available there. Another one that I would want for equipment hire is escavator, 8 ton tipper, Ganda Ganda. Those will make a killing renting to Municipality for maintaining rural roads and direct hire by communities

Despite unemployment there's a way of escape out of all this poverty - the hope that the rural lands is offering. Pack up them city bags and seek your fortunes in the country where opportunity beckons and prosperity abounds. It's time to think large outside of the cities.
