As a tank player. Please for the love of god everyone ping enemy tanks when you see them. I cant see shit and if i can find him first i can beat him consistently. But i can't if he finds me first
On console (idk if this is an exclusive feature) the explosive packs will automatically be thrown until there is around 2 seconds detonation time, essentially an auto cooker and very useful. Console players remember this, you will destroy more tanks and capture more objectives.
I think keeping soldier formation on “wide” would be my best tip. I am almost always at the top of the board with 100+ kills just because the enemy constantly bunches up in the objective in front of my Sherman
I'm on ps5, and sometimes my guy doesn't seem to feel like pulling out the explosive pack when I need him to, is there something I'm not taking into account?
The tip about rally points is the number one thing that will determine which team wins. It’s literally which team utilizes rally points better the vast majority of the time. I recommend putting an engineer on every squad. What I personally do is every time I spawn (unless it’s a weird situation) I build a rally point and from then on I check to make sure it’s still there and if it got destroyed or if I’m at a new point then I build another. Even if my teammates already have one built, so that there is always a reserve one just in case.

Rally points just show up when you are an engineer and select rally point to build and then look at map? Or can you see friendly ones if you zoom in or what? Does anyone know? And if what I said is the only way to see them then the devs really need to add the rally points to the map They are such a core part of the game that people need to be able to look at map and see live rally points at any time. There are tons of reasons why this would be useful. ESPECIALLY for those objectives where there is no good spot to put rally points where they can be protected and enemy bombers and artillery are just constantly destroying it on accident. Especially on Normandy where there are huge bombs and lots of open ground. They also need to make a new type of marker you can place for a “suspected enemy rally point” Since fighting to maintain rallies and destroy rallies is a whole other level of gameplay that is rarely even utilized since there’s no need since you can maintain your rally point and win 70-80% of your matches due to that alone lol. But making them displayed more prominently and making building them/destroying them be viewed as a high priority I think would improve game experience for everyone. And there is lots they can do as devs to help with this.
@@matts5247 alot of it comes down to player choice because they give us that ability to take whatever squad we want in depending on our preferences. Just like some people will attack/build rallies and some won't. As far as I know the only way to check other than spawning in is to be an engineer and look at the map. I'm pretty confident enlisted will work on this because they update frequently
Great tips. My add is to place your squad (X on PC) to a point right before the fight. Preferably in a concealed area (behind a building or inside) and use them as a quick respawn to get back in the fight. +1 for AGGRESSIVE play is the best way for big points at the end of battle.
In general, keep your ears open for enemy rally point sounds. Those are places you need to throw grenades, soldiers onto. A key thing for defending points.
I recently did a match where i was doing really good, i kept killing people, setting up rally points while also annoying the shit out of players on the enemy team. And i placed 3rd on the leaderboard that match which im happy about
when it comes to being aggressive, try to fight in front of the objective rather than behind. whether on defence or offence. fighting behind the objective is useless. if you can stop the enemy from getting onto the cap, you take it faster and if you are defending you can always retreat a bit BACK to the objective, but if you keep letting the enemy get onto it they will take it faster as well. also if you are in a tank, dont always try to hide in the grey area, always look for good spots to fight and if your guys are being wiped by enemy tanks, get your ass into the fight. nothing worse than some idiot in a tank trying to be a sniper. when I see a guy with a high score who has no objective kills or tank kills but has a ton of kills and we lost, its because of that guy and the " im just gonna worry about my K/d" idiots.
I absolutely agree with you. When I see the entire team just sitting inside a objective(its better than not playing the objective, but still..), I know the enemy will clear it with grenades and other CQC weapons. Tip for tank players: don't look at one direction(being stationary at the same time) for too long as this will make you a easy target for grenades. Look around you to see if any enemy is coming to get you.
@@seongsikyoon2222 i just played a game where two asshats were trying to camp with tanks, I ended up with 7 tank kills mostly by rushing into their grey area, even if it killed me, I killed their tank lol
I think my best tip would be stay tf away from tanks with a good high explosive, I’m am almost always at the top of the board with my Sherman just because the enemy always bunches up together inside of the objective.
I learned most of these on my own, and always thought I shouldnt strip my squads, but now with your confirmation I realize it’s actually very smart to strip them

Also a huge tip, you can build sandbags in Windows, if you build it outwards as much you can, you can even jump up on the window bit and shoot behind it, also making cover for your squad from pesky snipers, increasing the survivability of your team, also medics can be a chill way to get some xp, it really stacks up, fun way to play imo.
I find depending on the map it will be 35m-50m minimum rally distance. It's very important to use house cover or just as much cover in general when making a rally. Houses are typically the best because you can choke entrances with barbed wire and hedgehogs. Placing it as close as possible is v important but remember cover or else you'll get a 2-3min rally compared to a 15min fortress. Edit: this is of course only effective on defense, you waste time on offense doing this
2:30 There are some more exceptions to this actually, and flame and assault objectively have no use for tier 2/3: Sniper 3 and gunnner 2 can be worth it to get both reload speed and vert aim with 22 points. Sniper 2 with 20 handling can do reload and bolt speed if you want as well radio operator 2 (22 speed) can get both sprint speed and run speed. Yes people are wrong that run speed doesn't increase sprint speed, it does, then combine it with the sword from the event and they actually run faster, but not sure on the percentage. But they are very fast with all 3 combined. People only need tanker 1, rifleman 1, AT 1, flamer 1, engineer1, and assault 1 to get the perks you need, but you may need to reroll silvers for better base perks. I'm not sure what perks you were suggesting with assault and flame assuming you dont get near perfect or perfect stats.
Definitely true! I didn't want to get super in depth since it's just a general tip that people have questions about very often. Flametroopers 2's and Assaulter 3's are really good because their baseline perks are amazing (+vitality and +medkit healing)!
@@HeyQuadro The confusion is because you mentioned the perk distribution but not the base perk in the video, "It's not going to matter having those extra perk points with the exception of assault 3 and flametrooper 2". So when you mentioned Assault 3 and flame 2 it will make people think they can get extra perks that will be useful with the extra points rather than anything about the base perk. But the base perk is a great point so I'm wrong about the objective part, But I thought we were talking about something else.
Just running in guns blazing is not always the best way to play. I have been wiped out so many times and got just around 5k Xp if lucky. With a lose. Keep in mind both teams have 1k reinforcements. To win you need to end the other team and not lose all your reinforcements. Guns blazing is not always best. I also know this from being of the other side. It’s so easy to end people that go guns blazing. Good tip for helping getting a Mach over fast. But needs a bit more work to be a real helpful tip. I say this being a fan of and sniper I see. Snipers rock and it’s just how it is. I love getting in a little 1v1 with another sniper. Don’t care if I win or not. As long as it’s fun.

I have a question about rally points: there are times when you can't spawn in a rally point due to active battle. Does this mean the enemy is nearby? Or does this mean our allies are shooting near the rally point? Both cases are somewhat similar, but they are different.
Based off of what I've seen so far it seems the rally will be disabled from use when an enemy is firing at the rally, and when an enemy is within about 10m of the rally. It's hard to know whether it is or isn't because it only tells you on the squad respawn selection, and it's not always easy to see what's going on at the rally from the camera angle. Lmk if there is info on this to help me improve rally defenses
When I started playing the game I wish I had known about the stripping of troops earlier. But it will save you bronze and silver orders galore. How I wish though this wouldn't be necessary as it feels so counterintuitive. You're building yourself troops, spend even money to change their looks and I myself spend hours to drag out and in again to get the squad look I wanted.. only to realize that you make it incredibly hard for yourself with the games economy if you act like that. It's absolutely best to not build any attachment to your troops (the newly added customization feature is too ridiculously overpriced anyway to actual consider using it) and just strip any unit you just stopped playing of anything they have. And on top of it I stopped using most tier 2 troops. I just level my cheap tier 1s to full, so they become pretty good (even though many won't have the extra vitality) and then invest into tier 3s in the endgame. Tier 2s are unfortunately mostly only placeholders. Even with engineers tier 1s are completely sufficient to get the necessary perks you want, as you already said in the video.

Hey Quadro been watching your videos for a while I’ve been grinding the Normandy campaign on Allie’s. But I do from time to time play the others. I’m interested in what your favorite campaign and type of soldier is?
If I had to say, I'd say my favorite campaign is Normandy, but I think all campaigns have their pros and cons. Favorite type of soldier would be engineer, i suppose.
Dont stay in one spot when you fire, strafe a little, it buys you time before bots can hit you, makes it harder for actual humans to hit you. If you play with aim assist, fire basically the same half second you aim down sights. You'll snap to the target and have fired before the target drifts out of your sights. Makes the earlier fights when you only have bolt actions much easier. Dont be afraid to jump around while you reload if there's an enemy right in front of you, again it confuses the ai enemies and gives you that half second to shoot back. At distance with automatics, fan the trigger, going balls out automatic is enticing, full rocknroll doesnt get you kills only gives away your position. Most often the name of the game is shots on target, not downrange. One last tip, FLANK. ive noticed most players just storm the gates and it costs matches. A good flanking maneuver makes all the difference. Good luck on the frontlines
I switched to assault and rifle squads on Berlin campaign. It’s just a straight CQC campaign so it’s fast other than the train mission. The only dudes I see sitting back in the gray zone are campers in tanks who suck at actually aiming a rifle.
7:00 did they change that? A friend gave me the same advice, but when I ran after a tank in one of my first games with my explosive pack cooked I blew myself up because there was no automatic throw.
When defending a point and as an engr, yes rally points are good but you gotta also maximise other stuffs that u can build, barbed wires at the windows, barricade entrances with tank traps and sandbags and make a combo with barbed wires with too. Strategic placements on AA guns and the artillery is also good aswell
IVE veen playing this game for 5 months solid now after finding it accidentally. I downloaded this onto my XBox and havent looked back. This is the only game I play now and never ever get bored of it. I just found your videos as well and they are terrific!! Any advice on when to drop bombs onto targets when using aircraft? i think another good tip is be somewhat active in chat in a good way (and i dont mean spending half the time not moving while u type a paragraph) win or lose as long the team is somewhat having fun in chat, the game play just becomes more sweet
it feels like im the only person who actually knows how to play the game lol. Im the only one pushing objectives or building spawn points or mark enemies. i feel like all players who can play the game like me should get together or something because then we would always win
On Ps4 i hope they fix the lobbys lag not sure if it's the lobby or if it's cause I'm from Australia playing on Amercian servers but even before the updates I didint get any lag at all in game but since these last few updates we have had I've been getting lag lately
This is the BEST tip for new players on console: *Turn OFF cross-play* . The game is set to PC matchmaking by default, this means that you're being pitted against PC players. Why is this a problem? Because PC players use mouse+keyboard, which makes your controller practically useless in a firefight, auto-aim won't even help you because you can react more quickly with a mouse over a controller thumbstick. Long-range firefights are hopeless. You will enjoy this game so much more playing against console players only. Turn it off immediately and you'll see how much more enjoyable the game instantly becomes.
CAUTION [adderall fueled rant ahead] lol As a preface, enlisted is the only game I play and I have been playing it a good while, so I care about it and as it relates to the community, what I am rambling about here is the number one thing that could completely transform this game if everyone started doing what I talk about ahead. Obviously that’s a pipe dream but I just wanted to SUPER emphasize it’s importance here in the hopes that anyone who isn’t getting top of the leaderboard 75% of the time or more will read this and every player who converts and starts playing the game right, it makes the game just a little bit better as a whole. So the 15-20 minutes or however long I spent typing all this hopefully won’t be in vain lol. & since I’m super bored sitting around waiting on something, even if no one reads his it’s not in vain since it made time go by in an instant lol. (I don’t however care enough to go back and read what I’ve been typing as it comes to my head. Lol not about to proofread a damn YT comment even if it’s more like an essay lol. So sorry for typos and stuff. --The tip quadro mentioned about being aggressive is also so so important. And the way he explained it is spot on. For example it’s impossible to pin a full bot team back in their spawn even though they are all small starter squads. This is simply because all they do is push. It is mind boggling when my team has the other team pinned back in their spawn and instead of trying to break out and get a rally point down range and punish us for over committing, these guys will literally sit back in their spawn sniping and behaving almost is if they are defending their spawn even though they are on offense. As an experiment anyone reading this, for a session on both offense and defense just focus on nothing but making sure you always have a rally point up and then pushing up all the way until you make contact with the enemy and just keep pushing and die and repeat. Literally just go straight at the red arrow on map and don’t worry about dying This is a game where dying is not a bad thing. Trying to save alive and running around with 1-2 guys is going to limit your ability too. When you always have a full squad in wide formation just hitting the enemy straight on over and over you’ll die more but you’ll get so many more kills. And there’s no downside to dying. Look at it like as long as your squad kills more people than there are people in the squad then you had a successful life. But if you force yourself to do this experiment you’ll have the best session you’ve ever had guaranteed. And once you make that realization you can continue to play aggressive but start to learn the nuances and strategies beyond simply just hitting the enemy head on over and over. Like when it actually is okay to sit back and snipe or when you should suicide yourself or when you should turn and go to next objective and how to maneuver to hit the enemy using your full squad in wide formation constantly switching between guys and hitting them from all sides and holding back an advance or making a huge advance with just your squad alone. But the first step is just to take the what quadro said about that to heart. It is confusing I do understand that at first it seems like a really realistic tactical shooter since the weapon mechanics are so realistic so it seems natural to try to play tactically but until you real it’s an arcade shooter with realistic weapon mechanics, you won’t be able to effectively use strategy since the strategies that worm are all things unique to this game that you learn from experience. I know I’m ranting and raving but this is such a big deal and it honestly makes the game experience worse for me when people play passive by default or main vehicles etc. One quick final tangent on that note; don’t don’t don’t use vehicles “just because.” If you die and on menu see that a tank is available and so you choose to spawn in a tank simply because it’s available (or same thing for a plane), you are doing a huge disservice to your team, and many times even helping the other team. Especially if you commit the mortal triple whammy sin of not building rally points, and spawning in a tank or place or both or whatever you prefer, when you are able to, and you are using the vehicle in a passive way to any extent and/or you aren’t using that vehicle to DIRECTLY impact your teams efforts towards the objective. There are certainly times thats vehicles are a godsend. And as yoy play game more end more you’ll notice the top players hardly use vehicles but when they do it can just totally turn the game upside down having a massive impact. It’s not because they aren’t good with them or don’t enjoy them, it’s because in general infantry are going to have a much bigger influence over the eb and flow for objectives. And when I’m in a vehicle I now am playing a support role, and if there isn’t a scenario unfolding that requires the support of that vehicle then I know I’ll have a much bigger impact on the ground. The worst thing is when there is a scenario that urgently requires the support of a vehicle for specific scenario and it’s not there because someone is sitting just killing people over and over and over sitting back jsut for them to spawn back on rally point with full squad full health full ammo and are 5-10 second walk from objective. Tanks push up with infantry . Your job is to literally die instead of them, but take out as many as possible and cause as much chaos as possible and soften up target to allow enough guys on objective to where when you do get killed they would have jsut been able to walk right back to objective but now they are having to counter attack and they usually won’t have enough time before it’s capped to successfully counter attack. Alright I could go on forever lol. But the thing I was waiting on while bored typing this had now got here so I gotta jsut cut it off abruptly. I have a good anecdote for this I I’ll cut and paste into comments so that it will only be an essay and not a dissertation length lmao. As a final thought but remember this golden rule: everything you do should be intending to have some DIRECT positive impact on your teams efforts with objective. So anything you do that doesn’t have a direct and clear impact on whatever your team needs to cap or hold the objective in that moment, yes it will give you some xp and kills but I absolutely promise you and any enlisted vet will agree, that if you work towards teams efforts with objective while being aggressive and always maintaining a rally point, you will get more xp and you will win more and get that huge bonus. It’s not as simple as the saying “play the objective” because there are so many roles that you can be doing something that might not directly be playing the objective but can super easily linked to your teams success with objective. And when thinking about the objective don’t think of it as a static location, think ofnit in football terms of gaining ground and if you gain enough ground through brute force or find a a way to punch through gaining ground from another angle. Because if you think of it as a static location then you’ll sit back in a tank and get 100 kills in one life but not cap even half of the objective. If you’re thinking of it in terms of gaining and losing ground constantly, you can look at map and see based on where people are grouped up and you know that THAAAAT is the objective, not the place that’s marked. The place that’s marked is just a checkpoint along the way. And think about enemy team in same sense where if you aren’t seeing anyone you know a bug push is coming or if there’s a bug push you know if you break it that you will have full control of that sector. Lmao so much for one final golden rule . But since I’m just rambling and not thinking through what I want to say until I’m actually saying it, I realized that the “golden rule” isn’t gonna be helpful if no one understands what the he’ll I’m talking about. But anyways hopefully I helped out 1 or Two people, if not, I killed 30 minutes fast as hell lol.

It was kinda difficult to process that amount of text, but I think I learned a few things- Trying not to "waste" the last soldier of my squad and then playing too passively, or spawning in a plane even if infantry would have been more helpful are things that I'm probably doing a lot.

It's so frustrating when I am the only one actually building stuff... happens way too often, especially on Tunisia. That campaing is just pure pain for the Axis. I am a new player and my skills are mediocre, but I am trying my ass off to complete objectives and make my team win, although my equipment is trash and my overall shooting skills are mediocre. But I try to look for ways to help my team, I mark targets of importants, look for enemy rally points, destroy annoying vehicles, and build stuff wherever I go. However then I look at the score and wtf, why am I the only one actually pushing the objective and building rallies with engineers?! The game is surely interesting, but the grind... man, being stuck with bolt action rifles... I mean, I don't mind bolt action rifles, but how exactly do you counter automatic spam apart from being far from important places?
Now, you *say* that just because an enemy as a late unlock that they're not automatically gonna win, but every time I've fought someone with PPSh's in Moscow I've lost, so... Might just be a morale thing, idk
It depends on a team. A team fool of noobs with bolt actions obviously not going to make a standoff vs high end campaing stack of people. But if you have some people with good equip its still possible. I once won a berlin defence finishing 3rd in my team and my campaign is on lvl3 so i had to use the crappy stock weapon and even drillings.
I really love the idea with this game but I get so overwhelmed and confused with WTF is going on and what I’m supposed to do . Like what do I do with my squads ? How do I use them correctly? How do I upgrade my soldiers ? Why are controls on console so “off “ ? I love WW2 and enjoyed war thunder but I’m lost with this game and wish the tutorial was better !
I disagree entirely with the aggressive play tip, sure you shouldn't be way in the back of the map but someone needs to be on each flank at least, it's the most frustrating thing watching your whole team throw themselves into the meat grinder when all it takes is one guy on each flank to cut off the enemy from reinforcing an objective or alternatively watching your whole team get lit up by one flame thrower camping OBJ when you should have a solid frontline on most objectives. As the attacking team you should be trying to practically encircle the enemy and as the defending team you should be trying to prevent that. Theirs also completely valid reasons to prone around like crawling through an MG's blind spot, tossing smokes on Normandy or just trying to be sneaky in general especially to put down a rally.
I am from controller and i feel much more comfortable with a plane rather being in a tank idk why i just know how to use the rockets and the bombs i need medical assistance
First of all it was a pretty helpful video but at the same time it has some things i disagree with. For example i would take almost any other smg than the greese gun cause it fires so slow you can count the bullets without trying. Second it's a bit weird one of the tips was "win games cause it gives you an xp boost" ,if i won games i wouldnt need this video. The third is just that if you get the hang of the bomb dropping you can easily be top one by sometimes even 500 xp than the top second.

@MEH this is why it is v important to cook it. Stuarts tend to drive away pretty fast and even Jumbo's can do this if they have a good sixth sense

Engi per squad is essential. I don't check the rally because I figure I'll just rebuild it with the next squad depending on the situation

Just like some people will attack/build rallies and some won't. As far as I know the only way to check other than spawning in is to be an engineer and look at the map. I'm pretty confident enlisted will work on this because they update frequently
Great tips. My add is to place your squad (X on PC) to a point right before the fight. Preferably in a concealed area (behind a building or inside) and use them as a quick respawn to get back in the fight. +1 for AGGRESSIVE play is the best way for big points at the end of battle.
Definitely. Then when you are in control of the point, tell them to defend it. More bodies on the point means faster capture.
In general, keep your ears open for enemy rally point sounds. Those are places you need to throw grenades, soldiers onto. A key thing for defending points.
I recently did a match where i was doing really good, i kept killing people, setting up rally points while also annoying the shit out of players on the enemy team.
And i placed 3rd on the leaderboard that match which im happy about
when it comes to being aggressive, try to fight in front of the objective rather than behind. whether on defence or offence. fighting behind the objective is useless. if you can stop the enemy from getting onto the cap, you take it faster and if you are defending you can always retreat a bit BACK to the objective, but if you keep letting the enemy get onto it they will take it faster as well. also if you are in a tank, dont always try to hide in the grey area, always look for good spots to fight and if your guys are being wiped by enemy tanks, get your ass into the fight. nothing worse than some idiot in a tank trying to be a sniper. when I see a guy with a high score who has no objective kills or tank kills but has a ton of kills and we lost, its because of that guy and the " im just gonna worry about my K/d" idiots.
I absolutely agree with you. When I see the entire team just sitting inside a objective(its better than not playing the objective, but still..), I know the enemy will clear it with grenades and other CQC weapons. Tip for tank players: don't look at one direction(being stationary at the same time) for too long as this will make you a easy target for grenades. Look around you to see if any enemy is coming to get you.

I think my best tip would be stay tf away from tanks with a good high explosive, I’m am almost always at the top of the board with my Sherman just because the enemy always bunches up together inside of the objective.

Also a huge tip, you can build sandbags in Windows, if you build it outwards as much you can, you can even jump up on the window bit and shoot behind it, also making cover for your squad from pesky snipers, increasing the survivability of your team, also medics can be a chill way to get some xp, it really stacks up, fun way to play imo.

I find depending on the map it will be 35m-50m minimum rally distance. It's very important to use house cover or just as much cover in general when making a rally. Houses are typically the best because you can choke entrances with barbed wire and hedgehogs. Placing it as close as possible is v important but remember cover or else you'll get a 2-3min rally compared to a 15min fortress. Edit: this is of course only effective on defense, you waste time on offense doing this
2:30 There are some more exceptions to this actually, and flame and assault objectively have no use for tier 2/3:
Sniper 3 and gunnner 2 can be worth it to get both reload speed and vert aim with 22 points. Sniper 2 with 20 handling can do reload and bolt speed if you want as well
radio operator 2 (22 speed) can get both sprint speed and run speed. Yes people are wrong that run speed doesn't increase sprint speed, it does, then combine it with the sword from the event and they actually run faster, but not sure on the percentage. But they are very fast with all 3 combined.
People only need tanker 1, rifleman 1, AT 1, flamer 1, engineer1, and assault 1 to get the perks you need, but you may need to reroll silvers for better base perks.
I'm not sure what perks you were suggesting with assault and flame assuming you dont get near perfect or perfect stats.
Definitely true! I didn't want to get super in depth since it's just a general tip that people have questions about very often. Flametroopers 2's and Assaulter 3's are really good because their baseline perks are amazing (+vitality and +medkit healing)!
@@HeyQuadro The confusion is because you mentioned the perk distribution but not the base perk in the video, "It's not going to matter having those extra perk points with the exception of assault 3 and flametrooper 2". So when you mentioned Assault 3 and flame 2 it will make people think they can get extra perks that will be useful with the extra points rather than anything about the base perk. But the base perk is a great point so I'm wrong about the objective part, But I thought we were talking about something else.

Just running in guns blazing is not always the best way to play. I have been wiped out so many times and got just around 5k Xp if lucky. With a lose. Keep in mind both teams have 1k reinforcements. To win you need to end the other team and not lose all your reinforcements. Guns blazing is not always best. I also know this from being of the other side. It’s so easy to end people that go guns blazing. Good tip for helping getting a Mach over fast. But needs a bit more work to be a real helpful tip. I say this being a fan of and sniper I see. Snipers rock and it’s just how it is. I love getting in a little 1v1 with another sniper. Don’t care if I win or not. As long as it’s fun.

I have a question about rally points: there are times when you can't spawn in a rally point due to active battle. Does this mean the enemy is nearby? Or does this mean our allies are shooting near the rally point? Both cases are somewhat similar, but they are different.
Based off of what I've seen so far it seems the rally will be disabled from use when an enemy is firing at the rally, and when an enemy is within about 10m of the rally. It's hard to know whether it is or isn't because it only tells you on the squad respawn selection, and it's not always easy to see what's going on at the rally from the camera angle. Lmk if there is info on this to help me improve rally defenses
When I started playing the game I wish I had known about the stripping of troops earlier. But it will save you bronze and silver orders galore.
How I wish though this wouldn't be necessary as it feels so counterintuitive. You're building yourself troops, spend even money to change their looks and I myself spend hours to drag out and in again to get the squad look I wanted.. only to realize that you make it incredibly hard for yourself with the games economy if you act like that. It's absolutely best to not build any attachment to your troops (the newly added customization feature is too ridiculously overpriced anyway to actual consider using it) and just strip any unit you just stopped playing of anything they have.
And on top of it I stopped using most tier 2 troops. I just level my cheap tier 1s to full, so they become pretty good (even though many won't have the extra vitality) and then invest into tier 3s in the endgame. Tier 2s are unfortunately mostly only placeholders. Even with engineers tier 1s are completely sufficient to get the necessary perks you want, as you already said in the video.

Hey Quadro been watching your videos for a while I’ve been grinding the Normandy campaign on Allie’s. But I do from time to time play the others. I’m interested in what your favorite campaign and type of soldier is?
If I had to say, I'd say my favorite campaign is Normandy, but I think all campaigns have their pros and cons. Favorite type of soldier would be engineer, i suppose.
Dont stay in one spot when you fire, strafe a little, it buys you time before bots can hit you, makes it harder for actual humans to hit you.
If you play with aim assist, fire basically the same half second you aim down sights. You'll snap to the target and have fired before the target drifts out of your sights. Makes the earlier fights when you only have bolt actions much easier.
Dont be afraid to jump around while you reload if there's an enemy right in front of you, again it confuses the ai enemies and gives you that half second to shoot back.
At distance with automatics, fan the trigger, going balls out automatic is enticing, full rocknroll doesnt get you kills only gives away your position. Most often the name of the game is shots on target, not downrange.
One last tip, FLANK. ive noticed most players just storm the gates and it costs matches. A good flanking maneuver makes all the difference.

I switched to assault and rifle squads on Berlin campaign. It’s just a straight CQC campaign so it’s fast other than the train mission. The only dudes I see sitting back in the gray zone are campers in tanks who suck at actually aiming a rifle.
7:00 did they change that? A friend gave me the same advice, but when I ran after a tank in one of my first games with my explosive pack cooked I blew myself up because there was no automatic throw.
When defending a point and as an engr, yes rally points are good but you gotta also maximise other stuffs that u can build, barbed wires at the windows, barricade entrances with tank traps and sandbags and make a combo with barbed wires with too. Strategic placements on AA guns and the artillery is also good aswell

This is the BEST tip for new players on console: *Turn OFF cross-play* . The game is set to PC matchmaking by default, this means that you're being pitted against PC players. Why is this a problem? Because PC players use mouse+keyboard, which makes your controller practically useless in a firefight, auto-aim won't even help you because you can react more quickly with a mouse over a controller thumbstick. Long-range firefights are hopeless. You will enjoy this game so much more playing against console players only. Turn it off immediately and you'll see how much more enjoyable the game instantly becomes.

As a preface, enlisted is the only game I play and I have been playing it a good while, so I care about it and as it relates to the community, what I am rambling about here is the number one thing that could completely transform this game if everyone started doing what I talk about ahead.
Obviously that’s a pipe dream but I just wanted to SUPER emphasize it’s importance here in the hopes that anyone who isn’t getting top of the leaderboard 75% of the time or more will read this and every player who converts and starts playing the game right, it makes the game just a little bit better as a whole. So the 15-20 minutes or however long I spent typing all this hopefully won’t be in vain lol. & since I’m super bored sitting around waiting on something, even if no one reads his it’s not in vain since it made time go by in an instant lol. (I don’t however care enough to go back and read what I’ve been typing as it comes to my head. Lol not about to proofread a damn YT comment even if it’s more like an essay lol. So sorry for typos and stuff.
--The tip quadro mentioned about being aggressive is also so so important. And the way he explained it is spot on.
For example it’s impossible to pin a full bot team back in their spawn even though they are all small starter squads. This is simply because all they do is push.
It is mind boggling when my team has the other team pinned back in their spawn and instead of trying to break out and get a rally point down range and punish us for over committing, these guys will literally sit back in their spawn sniping and behaving almost is if they are defending their spawn even though they are on offense.
As an experiment anyone reading this, for a session on both offense and defense just focus on nothing but making sure you always have a rally point up and then pushing up all the way until you make contact with the enemy and just keep pushing and die and repeat. Literally just go straight at the red arrow on map and don’t worry about dying
This is a game where dying is not a bad thing. Trying to save alive and running around with 1-2 guys is going to limit your ability too. When you always have a full squad in wide formation just hitting the enemy straight on over and over you’ll die more but you’ll get so many more kills. And there’s no downside to dying.
Look at it like as long as your squad kills more people than there are people in the squad then you had a successful life.
But if you force yourself to do this experiment you’ll have the best session you’ve ever had guaranteed.
And once you make that realization you can continue to play aggressive but start to learn the nuances and strategies beyond simply just hitting the enemy head on over and over. Like when it actually is okay to sit back and snipe or when you should suicide yourself or when you should turn and go to next objective and how to maneuver to hit the enemy using your full squad in wide formation constantly switching between guys and hitting them from all sides and holding back an advance or making a huge advance with just your squad alone. But the first step is just to take the what quadro said about that to heart.
It is confusing I do understand that at first it seems like a really realistic tactical shooter since the weapon mechanics are so realistic so it seems natural to try to play tactically but until you real it’s an arcade shooter with realistic weapon mechanics, you won’t be able to effectively use strategy since the strategies that worm are all things unique to this game that you learn from experience.
I know I’m ranting and raving but this is such a big deal and it honestly makes the game experience worse for me when people play passive by default or main vehicles etc.
One quick final tangent on that note; don’t don’t don’t use vehicles “just because.” If you die and on menu see that a tank is available and so you choose to spawn in a tank simply because it’s available (or same thing for a plane), you are doing a huge disservice to your team, and many times even helping the other team. Especially if you commit the mortal triple whammy sin of not building rally points, and spawning in a tank or place or both or whatever you prefer, when you are able to, and you are using the vehicle in a passive way to any extent and/or you aren’t using that vehicle to DIRECTLY impact your teams efforts towards the objective.
There are certainly times thats vehicles are a godsend. And as yoy play game more end more you’ll notice the top players hardly use vehicles but when they do it can just totally turn the game upside down having a massive impact. It’s not because they aren’t good with them or don’t enjoy them, it’s because in general infantry are going to have a much bigger influence over the eb and flow for objectives. And when I’m in a vehicle I now am playing a support role, and if there isn’t a scenario unfolding that requires the support of that vehicle then I know I’ll have a much bigger impact on the ground.
The worst thing is when there is a scenario that urgently requires the support of a vehicle for specific scenario and it’s not there because someone is sitting just killing people over and over and over sitting back jsut for them to spawn back on rally point with full squad full health full ammo and are 5-10 second walk from objective.
Tanks push up with infantry . Your job is to literally die instead of them, but take out as many as possible and cause as much chaos as possible and soften up target to allow enough guys on objective to where when you do get killed they would have jsut been able to walk right back to objective but now they are having to counter attack and they usually won’t have enough time before it’s capped to successfully counter attack.
Alright I could go on forever lol. But the thing I was waiting on while bored typing this had now got here so I gotta jsut cut it off abruptly. I have a good anecdote for this I I’ll cut and paste into comments so that it will only be an essay and not a dissertation length lmao.
As a final thought but remember this golden rule: everything you do should be intending to have some DIRECT positive impact on your teams efforts with objective. So anything you do that doesn’t have a direct and clear impact on whatever your team needs to cap or hold the objective in that moment, yes it will give you some xp and kills but I absolutely promise you and any enlisted vet will agree, that if you work towards teams efforts with objective while being aggressive and always maintaining a rally point, you will get more xp and you will win more and get that huge bonus.
It’s not as simple as the saying “play the objective” because there are so many roles that you can be doing something that might not directly be playing the objective but can super easily linked to your teams success with objective.
And when thinking about the objective don’t think of it as a static location, think ofnit in football terms of gaining ground and if you gain enough ground through brute force or find a a way to punch through gaining ground from another angle.
Because if you think of it as a static location then you’ll sit back in a tank and get 100 kills in one life but not cap even half of the objective.
If you’re thinking of it in terms of gaining and losing ground constantly, you can look at map and see based on where people are grouped up and you know that THAAAAT is the objective, not the place that’s marked. The place that’s marked is just a checkpoint along the way. And think about enemy team in same sense where if you aren’t seeing anyone you know a bug push is coming or if there’s a bug push you know if you break it that you will have full control of that sector.
Lmao so much for one final golden rule . But since I’m just rambling and not thinking through what I want to say until I’m actually saying it, I realized that the “golden rule” isn’t gonna be helpful if no one understands what the he’ll I’m talking about.
But anyways hopefully I helped out 1 or Two people, if not, I killed 30 minutes fast as hell lol.

It's so frustrating when I am the only one actually building stuff... happens way too often, especially on Tunisia. That campaing is just pure pain for the Axis. I am a new player and my skills are mediocre, but I am trying my ass off to complete objectives and make my team win, although my equipment is trash and my overall shooting skills are mediocre. But I try to look for ways to help my team, I mark targets of importants, look for enemy rally points, destroy annoying vehicles, and build stuff wherever I go. However then I look at the score and wtf, why am I the only one actually pushing the objective and building rallies with engineers?! The game is surely interesting, but the grind... man, being stuck with bolt action rifles... I mean, I don't mind bolt action rifles, but how exactly do you counter automatic spam apart from being far from important places?

It depends on a team. A team fool of noobs with bolt actions obviously not going to make a standoff vs high end campaing stack of people.
But if you have some people with good equip its still possible. I once won a berlin defence finishing 3rd in my team and my campaign is on lvl3 so i had to use the crappy stock weapon and even drillings.
I really love the idea with this game but I get so overwhelmed and confused with WTF is going on and what I’m supposed to do . Like what do I do with my squads ? How do I use them correctly? How do I upgrade my soldiers ? Why are controls on console so “off “ ? I love WW2 and enjoyed war thunder but I’m lost with this game and wish the tutorial was better !

I disagree entirely with the aggressive play tip, sure you shouldn't be way in the back of the map but someone needs to be on each flank at least, it's the most frustrating thing watching your whole team throw themselves into the meat grinder when all it takes is one guy on each flank to cut off the enemy from reinforcing an objective or alternatively watching your whole team get lit up by one flame thrower camping OBJ when you should have a solid frontline on most objectives. As the attacking team you should be trying to practically encircle the enemy and as the defending team you should be trying to prevent that.
Theirs also completely valid reasons to prone around like crawling through an MG's blind spot, tossing smokes on Normandy or just trying to be sneaky in general especially to put down a rally.
I am from controller and i feel much more comfortable with a plane rather being in a tank idk why i just know how to use the rockets and the bombs i need medical assistance

@@slumphub I find most games I am the only doing it. Half the time my team is walking in a circle and won't even take points.
First of all it was a pretty helpful video but at the same time it has some things i disagree with. For example i would take almost any other smg than the greese gun cause it fires so slow you can count the bullets without trying. Second it's a bit weird one of the tips was "win games cause it gives you an xp boost" ,if i won games i wouldnt need this video. The third is just that if you get the hang of the bomb dropping you can easily be top one by sometimes even 500 xp than the top second.
