DANGER - DON'T DO THIS IN FLIP FLOPS! (Vanlife - Verdon Gorge, France)

Bonjour from us!
With only a few weeks left of our trip, we continued on to the Gorges du Verdon, a spectacular natural attraction that becomes a little gridlocked in the summer! We 'missed the boat' with the electric-powered vessels, so manpower it was, and four hours into our epic kayak, our arms were like jelly! This was after a Sammy-inspired epic hike up a pre-historic path in flip flops. Not for the faint-hearted! The views around Quinson and the Gorges were outstanding, and the day ended on a high, despite the freezing temperature of the water.

Were you teachers? You seem to know so much about pre-history. Good vid as usual. Yes I agree don't go out walking with flap flops on, could be very dangerous especially if there is only you and Sam. Isn't it awful that when we are abroad we always say that things would be damaged in UK. So sad really.

Thanks Pamela! I was a teacher (Bee) but no history buff until now, I just like finding things out and the internet at your fingertips helps! It is sad to think things would be vandalised in the UK, but I think we are just such a densely populated country, unlike France! Thanks as always for interacting xx
