Wasn't expecting a DeRozan/Phelps matchup
Never in a million years
This is iconic. Some of my top favourite athletes/public figures talking about something so relatable and REAL. So happy to look up to these men that I’ve followed for so many years who are brave enough to be vulnerable and honest and let their walls down. I love them so much! The way they described how they were screaming for help and had no one to lean on... it makes you wish you could have somehow been there for them. On top of that, the sports community can be extremely harsh and one of the most savage in terms of fandom. God bless these two. I am not an athlete but their stories have made me feel so much less alone and have saved me... Thank you Michael and DeMar and to BleacherReport for posting this.

I am an avid mental health awareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my CZcams channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates.

It’s true. I used to swim in my childhood and it made me very happy. If I feel down now I can pick my chlorine bottle and smell it. It brings me back to my swimming years.
You can think of moments that made you happy and think what it smells like and what it looks like. Find those smells / objects and keep them close to you. It helps brain to bring you back to that state of mind.

I think religion is a big help for mental ease, but I think finding god within & creating your own path makes more sense than giving your life to a “higher power”.
No. I was brainwashed with church. I wanted to die. Only studying all schools of psychology, understanding brain and memory helped.
