That Unearthly Leather and Lace Palette is calling my name. I wanted Glamlite Strawberry Shortcake so much, but I just can't justify buying anymore pinks and greens. I have been so bad this year. Lol.

I think my absolutely favorite palettes of the year are the Cosmic Brushes Royal Rose and Serenity palettes, the Oden's Eye Christmas palettes, and all of the Beauty Bay palettes. I got all of their new releases this year and love them all!

Favorites this year...I rediscovered the OG Naked palette. Still performs well. I finally recently gave in to the hype, since it's STILL hyped, and bought the Patrick Ta Major Dimension palette. It did not disappoint. I have really been loving the Colourpop Muppets Christmas palette. And I liked the new Makeup By Mario palette and used that a lot since I got it.

I've gotten 4 palettes this year and I'd say my top fave would have to be the Viseart Petites Dark Mattes, with the Hela palette as a close second. They work really well together too. ❤️

My favorite palette is the MILF palette by Sugar Drizzle. I didn't buy very much this year though. I think I bought 4 or 5 palettes. I love every single shade in the Milf palette. Just got it last week and can't stop playing with it. SmithySony convinced me I needed it and she was so very right. So far it's the favorite of my entire collection and I have a ton. Love it more than my PM palettes. I haven't tried Adept yet but plan on getting your palette after the holidays!! :) 😀

May I make a suggestion, as someone who is used to keeping track of a lot of data? Sticky notes can be your best friend. Tiny sticky notes for numbering palettes, regular sticky notes for quick notes, big lined sticky notes for lists of projects/videos. I mostly mentioned this for numbering products in ranking videos, but just an idea to help take the guess work out of remembering.

I knew house of El would be high on your ranking but I didn't know it would be that high! I bought it because of your review (and I couldn't get those shimmery shades out of my mind) and it is a beautiful palette. I would call Cosmic Brushes Serenity my number one find this year. Can't get enough of that opal shade!!! But I do love Unearthly palettes, just haven't been able to play in them as much as I'd like to.

Definietly planning to get Warms my Blood, Serenity, and to try BellaBeautebar! Not only eyeshadows but their highlighter palette too 😍
I've been living abroad for a year for my studies so I had limited makeup and couldn't order anything, so no new faves for me this year 😭 so out of the 10 palettes I brought with me, I'd say I loved to use the Angelica x Kaleidos palette (couldn't leave this one home it's too pretty, the toppers are incredible) and I surprised myself really enjoying my Urban Bible palette from SoSu by Susan in collaboration with Keilidh. The good thing is that it made me focus on some older palettes that I brought with me like the Masquerade palette from Juvia's place (the mini version), i even hit pan on 2 shimmers in this one! After 5 years of service finally seeing that it is somewhat used 😂
I was on a low buy this year since I went crazy last year 😂... The only palette I picked up was the only one I knew I needed to have in my collection and it was the Heather Austin X Adept! I have to tell myself to put it down because my other palettes needs love too 💚🖤❤️

I enjoyed watching your palette ranking video so much, Heather! You have such a sunny disposition and I love seeing your enthusiasm for the eyeshadow palettes in your video. I enjoyed seeing your thoughts on each palette and getting a mini review of them.
It's interesting to see how indie brands are producing such high quality eyeshadows with so much creativity in their colour stories. I wish I could try some of these brands but many we can't yet get in the UK or they have very high international shipping rates. I still enjoy seeing them, though! Maybe at some point they will be more widely available or the rates will be a bit cheaper.
I noticed the BPerfect Interstellar Palette wasn't in your rankings for 2023. Do you leave out palettes you have used later in the year? Or do you pick a selection to feature in the rankings?

I am on a low buy this year. But did pick up a few things . I got the toofaced primed and poreless powder and toofaced major love mini pallet . I got the auntie Pat Bridgerton pallet and blush round box , the pink ones. Even though never seen any of the show, just thought they were pretty. I also got the profusion Jurassic park collection . I am probably the only one ☝️ who got that 😆, but the packaging is so pretty.

I got the Scooby Doo palettes but haven’t tried them yet because I can’t stop using the All done up palette.
Unfortunately a lot of use who really wanted the Odens eye palettes couldn’t get them but I’m hoping they will bring it back one day.
