Bro, that's my favorite thing in Kpop, I'm 30 and THIS is what I grew up listen. It feels so nostalgic! The best part is that the producers are millennials like me, who grew up listen to the gold era of hip hop / r&b. I'm really grateful for kpop 'cause that's the only way to have new music with that old school flavor 🔥🔥🔥 Western music doesn't hit as hard as the 90's to 10's music

Hope you will react to EXO's Sweet Lies next. EXO are vocal kings of kpop and they lean more towards R&B. Even though they're on hiatus since 2019 due to military enlistment, they still produce great group albums (members yet to enlist+members returning from enlistment) and solo albums. Out of 9 members, 6 already have successful solo albums. They are still on hiatus as 2 youngest yet to enlist but their leader who has just completed his enlistment has just announced a special group album soon. Suho, the leader, has just released his 2nd solo album yesterday, called Grey Suit. MV of Grey Suit was also released yesterday. These guys never stop working, even just before their release from enlistment, they're already working out solo albums, acting, etc.

They considered Vocal and RnB kings of bc they have some of the best vocalists and dancers in the industry
Their music is mostly RnB influenced but they do other genres too
They came with OG 90's old school hip hop/RnB and couldn't do anything different than sample queens of that era! This is a masterpiece

@@andheardstudios8089 Ooof you don't even know lmao There's Cloud 9 and Obsession from Dem Jointz. There's Call me Baby and What is love produced by Teddy Riley. Teddy might have done more but not sure. There are more producers and songwriters from the states who are african american who have taken part in EXO's discography and kpop in general. Hopefully we'll see more diversity not only in kpop music videos but western artists and music fans need to be more open minded towards east asian talent also

EXO is amazingly magical. Their artistry is beyong kpop.....plus SWV? DOPE! I am a 90's kid so I know them. I always sing along when their song Weak is played as if i am the best singer in the world. Haha!

Best reaction to Ya Ya Ya I’ve seen lol. It’s the thing I love most about K-pop. If they are looking for a specific sound, they’ll go straight to the source rather than trying to recreate it. There are many R&B producers working in K-pop; EXO is particularly steeped in 90’s R&B. I recommend What Is Love, their pre-debut song produced by Teddy Riley, who has been working with K-pop groups for years.

Just found your channel, glad I did ! EXO are well known for their diversity, specially for their late '90 - beginning 2000 vibes, they took the best, mixed it and finalised it in masterpieces !! You will hear A LOT of r&b tracks in their discografy, I would suggest '' Sweet Lies'' live , '' Trauma'' and ''Been Through'', a few of my favorite tracks ( actually, I love all tracks, EXO DON'T HAVE BAD TRACKS !!)
