      Just don’t get off the vehicles. The lions see the vehicles as larger creatures. Walk around on foot and you are down to their level and fair game if they want to bother.

  • @duncanwallace7760
    @duncanwallace7760 Před měsícem +12

    The lion was annoyed because the females were sniffing his ass, not because of the closeness of the vehicles, like many commenters are implying. Lions will sometimes come over to vehicles and lie in the shade, or use them as cover when stalking. These lions seemed very relaxed around the vehicles.

      I have always said, Three things wild animals need is respect, love, and their space. Last being important for this reason. If they feel cramped it can become dangerous for not just the people but for the wild animals alike. We all know who pays the price if something goes wrong, the wild animals!!

    • @sorellman
      @sorellman Před měsícem +5

      Two or three of four things about that. The tour group cars are on the dirt road. They are where they are supposed to be. The lions may have approached them after they were already stopped. We only look at part of the video. The lions do not seem at all bothered by them. As a matter of fact, they do not even acknowledge them. It is obvious the lions are used to visitors and cars. The male lion is triggered by one of the lionesses, not by humans. We should be as close to the animals as possible without harming them.

      Lions and other animals see it as one big object like a big rock. They warn people to be quiet and not make movements with the arms, hands, etc that they might see them. And not stand up or get out. Then they are undetectable as life forms, commonly know in those parts as "dinner".
