SO/ Bangkok Review | HI-SO Rooftop Bar, SO Pool Party, Icon Siam, Chinatown - Thong Tou Cafe

I'm back in Bangkok Thailand, stayed at So Sofitel again for the weekend. If you're into luxury travel, here's my tips for what to do in for a weekend getaway, dinning and shopping. Bangkok is all about trendy lifestyle, vibrant nightlife and rooftop bars.
So Sofitel's HI-SO bar is one of the trendy rooftop bars in town overlooking the Lumpini park & lake. Always packed even on the weekdays. Red Oven at SO is also famous for hotel dinner buffet, I often have dinner there even when I'm not staying at the hotel, so their breakfast is no doubt delicious as well. If you happen to be in Bangkok on the weekend when they have So Pool Party, you might as well check it out.
And If you love shopping, you should definitely visit the new shopping mall located just across the river called ICONSIAM. Crossing the river by boat is interesting for us traveler, so don't miss that. After a shopping day, of course it would be nice to hangout at the rooftop bars upstairs. Enjoying Bangkok's skyline and their cocktails. I browsed the internet before going and found a hip and Instagrammable dim sum place in Chinatown. It has this very unique decor, and I chose the cute table where I needed to climb the ladder to seat. I really liked how the food is presented, it's more like fusion dim sum, and it was very tasty as well.
