There is no uestion that Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia should become states so that their residents be represented and have all the rights as well as the privileges of all American citizens. The daus of American colonializm have long ended.
I respect other cultures and having different roots and I know having such a situation can be complicated but as I see this entire having different flag, the wimping over finances as if that little island would have that much of recourse, the pride like we are US but forcing totally different culture separated etc just so biased to me as a European where you got no kindergarten like this, children redundantly crying over the cake they got.
