I still don't really understand why there isn't a ~5$ monthly pass where you get like 500 coins total, a few cool encounters, items, some cosmetics and then for like the last reward a battle pass exclusive Pokemon that comes like next year in the wild or something along those lines.
That would be pretty cool to get or even a slight twist on that

I’ve had the idea that you get a poke coin for every premier ball you don’t use to catch the shadow- which incentivizes catching all shadow Pokemon quickly
Niantic Logic... 700 Forint (hungarian money) for that ticket which gives me 20 Coin / day (300 at max) but i could just buy 3x100 Coin for 600 Forint which gives me 300 Coin instantly xd Soooo i can get the same amount but faster and cheaper
I definitely think that the Pokemon Field Research is a good idea, but it should be free. I'm not paying for a daily login mechanic.

I feel like they’re trying to copy the daily gem packs that gacha games have but failed to realize that those are actually good value and give you like a decent amount of gems.

2:09 i was near a beach yesterday and i saw a wiglett spawn (never caught one) and then pokemon go glitched and teleported me to another place nearby (but not near the beach) so i restarted the game but wiglett wasn't there anymore😭

Years back the plan was to give other options for daily coins, but nerf the gym earnings.
The first plan was also to raise the daily coin cap to 55, but later removed that and planned on keeping the max at 50.
As far as i know people where not happy with the plans, because for most it would a lot more tedious to earn max coins on low-active days.
So that might be why it was scrapped, or Niantic just had problems with implementing it

The 2nd part of the video I didn’t expect . That’s it man that’s an amazing mind frame , very difficult to do for alot . I will say it won’t solve all the stress but it helps a lot !
What you are not mentioning about when getting coins from field research testing was happening is that the maximum number of coins you could get a day was still 50 coins. Niantic was limiting the number of coins you could get from gyms to just 30 a day. So, players had to work a lot harder every day to get their 50 coins.
In the US, if you're willing to buy the $100 bundle in the webstore... each $1 gets you 155 coins, so 310 for $2... but, it you only do little purchases, then its decent (if you play every day already)
Mystic7 - You should also talk about the changes in Zygarde cells on routes. You can get up to 3 cells a day, one chance on the 1st time you complete a route. So don't repeat routes .

That's the best insight I've seen from a PoGo creator so far, everyone else seems to be frustrated because they are at the end of their game and have hedged their whole identity in the game, theres no point for them bringing the negativity for new players who have a long way to go before they get tired of "another repeating com day" etc
For us in the UK it is a £2 for £3 of coins, sounds like the same in the USA but that equates to $2.51 for £3.76 worth of coins. similar difference but just wanting to highlight how Niantic doesn't do a very good job at currency exchange. the game is just 20% more expensive here for everything all the time.
No matter what you are doing I will be watching and supporting for sure! You are all around very entertaining and sharing lots of knowledge with everyone. It's cool that you shared all this. I think one of the most important subconscious motivators for making/watching YT videos is the sense that you are sharing an interest or experience with a creator and/or an audience.
For the past few months, your complaining about Niantic has made me feel less interested in your videos because it makes you seem like your heart isn't in it, so why would I waste my time watching someone faking having an interest in what interests me. But I see that you're dealing with the frustration of not feeling interested in the content as a result of Niantic decisions that you feel are not aligned with your own interests.
Also as a guy coming out of their early twenties I feel more interested in things like what you will offer on the personal channel, which helps me empathise with what you've been going through and admire that you're coming through it pretty graciously and successfully, I hope to similar personal successes.
Anyway, I just feel like typing what's on my mind after watching this. For this channel, I really encourage you to make videos you're happy about, if that comes from discussing the business methodology of pokemon updates and decisions that you admire or feel weird about then great, if you're genuinely excited about the spawns in some event or the new content in updates, also great. It really shows when you're interested. If the topic isn't interesting but the views that are on the table is exciting to you, then focus on that and it might help bring up the mood and motivation you take with you into the content. I appreciate the realness of venting, and it does help a game get better if the community criticises bad decisions, but I think unstructured moaning in the wrong place does more harm than good for you.
Not that you did that in this video or at all recently. Just splurging out my thoughts no one asked for, sometimes it feels good to type things lol

I feel you about the stress of a fluctuating salary. Years and years ago when the US was friendlier towards online poker sites, I used to make my income from poker. There was obviously no set pay or guaranteed income, and so it was so incredibly stressful all the time -- even when I was doing well, I couldn't spend money like I was doing well because it wasn't guaranteed to last. I'm rather glad to not be doing that anymore. Those jobs kill.

It's awesome for grinding best buddies because you can get every single heart (including excited hearts) in 1 hour if you know how to get the buddy excited in the 1 hour xD usually takes 3 hours to get all feed hearts since that is the only time gated one but now it is only 1 hour meaning you can do A LOT of buddies in a day if you have spare time.
I spent the whole day at the beach last Sunday and didn't see one Wiglet spawn. 😩

I honestly don't care about the visuals improvement. I think that Niantic should just focus on thinking of better content to add into PoGo instead of wasting resources of just improving visuals.

My thing about the Pokecoin field research is it says you MAY recieve Pokecoins. It's no guarantee. It's a ripoff. It's behind a paywall which is dumb.

Brandon, I admire all the hard work you put into all 3 channels but just don't get burned out man. Even with an editor I can't imagine how you are making content for each channel almost every other day or every few days.
I would accept the daily Field Research with 20 coins, and dropping the gym payout to 30. If our Pokémon don’t get knocked out of the gym, we would still get something for the day.
Do you have to pay for the research each day during the event? Because that's how I'm reading it, and if that's the case, I'm not doing it.

The poke 20 coins research should just be free. If you do it that day you get it and if you don't then you still have the next day to do it. This is a very slimy way to do it on there part.
In my country we get 280 coins for 12.00PLN which normally cost around 8.50PLN ... niantic twisted logic

So you get 100 coins for free and save $1. You can just buy 300 coins for $3
In Canada it’s 2.79 for 300 coins, with taxes it’s something like 3.50, it’s not even worth it. Even if you forget about that, I’m not doing tedious work for 2 weeks straight just for 100 extra coins.
