I’d say something like: I mean, at the time, yes, it was definitely disrespectful not to double him, or even triple him. Shaq has to be one of the most dominant players to play in the NBA. His physicality was off the charts, even compared to players today. If he had the same dedication as Kobe, he could’ve been the GOAT.
then again if he spent all his time in the gym like kobe then he could of put too much pressure on his body and blown his knees out by the time he was 25. yes more time in the gym could of helped shaq. but it also could of made him worse. shaq was fun lovin. he might of fell out of love with the game if all he did was obsess about winning and getting better like kobe did.
It was shaq step father who put it in his mind to use all his size like a bully an that’s what made him successful because shaq said he didn’t wanna play like that at first he wanted to be flashy and dribble but his step dad told him you need to be a jerk you need to not have remorse down there
Wouldn't have mattered. I think Shaq dunking on pretty much the entire Kings team is the most disrespectful dunk of all time. "Oh, you only quadruple teaming me? Naw, I got this"
Dude ended up being a Senator 🤦🏿♂️😂😂😂 that’s how bad Shaq embarrassed him lol. Dude got into politics so he could make some connections to get back at Shaq later in life 😏😂😂
I have seen the games in his prime, to this day I never cease to be amazed at what a massive human being this guy is and what he did on the court. Seriously unguardable.
Shaq really is traumatized. If you listen to all his interviews you can tell. He had a strong step.dad but that man beat that boy. He clearly made a great basketball player. But traumatized man
His dad was in the military and he wanted his son to be aware of his surroundings tough discipline and not weak cause people will take advantage of him
I love Shaq but I’m glad that Dudley hit him with the ball, and I’m actually impressed that he hit him with the ball from that far. That shove was just total disrespect.
Good thing to, because he was a bully growing up and realized he was too big for this after beating a kid to a seizure. A guy like Shaq, with his ego and a constant chip on his shoulder... Probably a good thing his dad was an Army sergeant.
I feel the same when a dude asks for the ball at the start of a pickup game. Like damn, you don't know what you're getting into mfer, but I'ma show you!

The shove after was pure disrespect. 😂
It wasn’t even that bad as far as what Shaq did. Dudley had his legs so he barely shoved him out from under him.
That dunk was nasty asf love it
a shaq drop step is lethal 😂
Only OGS remember Shaqs dunk on David Robinson against the spurs where David fell. That's was the most disrespectful one.
