I'll be interested in the awning now too, as my plans changed and right now I'm looking at a used Scamp that doesn't have one. That snow was hopefully the last! Today is gorgeous. Enjoy!
Having the same issue here with the snow as well. We are hoping though by tomorrow we can have some melting so we can get out on the road. Looking forward to seeing what you do for the affordable awning.
I couldn't let my RV sit idle during the Winter...which is one reason it has to be 4-season capable (and 4x4 on top of that, if a motorized RV like a Class B camper van). But if I can't have both -- and that's a real problem looking at Class Bs presently (only ONE being offered is both) -- then at least I'd want 4-season. As for towables, the Airstream Basecamp-X is 4-season, and being a towable 4x4 isn't applicable (but the tow-vehicle woudl need to be 4x4/AWD). At least it has large off-road/inclement weather tires on it. Happy Travels, -- BR

Crazy how fast the weather can turn. Super excited though! Can't wait to hit the road again!

Hello, wondering if there is enough space for a small child to sleep on the floor of the Scamp 16'? Thank you !
I guess a child or adult could sleep on the floor but there would be little room to get around them if people moved around in the middle of the night.
