Pilgrimage to Namugongo basilica ahead of the Uganda's martyrs day celebrations 2024.

Come let's explore Namugongo shrine where we celebrate the Uganda martyrs annually on 3rd June. On the event we celebrate the Uganda martyrs a group of 22 catholic and 23 Anglican converts to Christianity in the historical kingdom of Buganda who were executed btn 1885 and 1887 on orders of Kabaka Mwanga ii of Buganda.
