I appreciate that mom telling her child “Nicely though”. It’s so important to teach children to be respectful to animals.
Wish more people were taught that. I work with full grown adults that need to freak out and start shouting at and trying to play with every animal they see.
There has to be something in the water, the average 10 year old has more sense than these women who are at least past 40.

I took my dog, Henry, into my local pets at home. Once. The racket he made when he saw the rabbits is one I'll never forget, like a brass band tuning up. He pulled so hard he pulled me out of my sandals and everything I carried was all over the floor. Sherpa is a model citizen if he only woofs now and then 😂.
Ps I give my dog vitapet double strength oil for his joints. He loves it and it does him good too.

Some while back, I saw something about a Golden Retriever. Every day he would leave home and come back with a huge rawhide chew bone. He was shoplifting at the local pet store. 🤣

I love Denmark. I think everywhone from Norway has visited Denmark. One of the doctor where I stay in Norway. He is Danish and I remember when our children used him as doctor. Our children always asked again and again. What did he say. They did not understand anything he talked abouth at all. We don’t used him anymore. I talk to him when I meet him. Hi Jamie, my golden retriever used to get the same thing. Something that I found which really worked was moist heat. I would get a medium, dish towel sized towel, and get it nice and hot under the faucet. When it was almost too hot for my hands I would carry it over to my dog and gently wrap it around his knee, ankle and foot area and hold it on him in until all the heat was gone. I would heat up the towel again and do it about three times, once in the morning and again in the evening for a couple of days. He loved it and it really seemed to help him with the soreness. He liked it so well when he saw me getting the towel he would run over and get in the position. :). I hope that helps. It might just be a flare up, you might want to keep him off rocks for a few days that might help too.

I run into lots of dogs at PetSmart and I love how talkative some can be. They usually want to sniff me cause they can smell meower on me. Proud Mama of a 14 year old ginger tom cat named Cosmo. I understand the arthritis flare up stuff and totally sympathize with Sherpa. Hope you can find something to help.

Everybody loves a chatty husky! We once had an entire school bus stop to say hello. He was talking to all the kids leaning out their windows lol

Considering you've never specified that"Being Good" means "Be silent" Sherps did brilliantly... didn't start to try to open ANY of the dogtreats/foods, and even let the baby pet him.

Aww, he still looks like a puppy to me. My cockapoo Curly Murphy is eleven, almost twelve, and he is arthritic too, but like Sherp, he just loves getting out everyday and meeting his public. He announces himself too, and is known as the talking dog. We send much love from across the pond in Ireland. (Although me and the pup are Aussies, haven't lost the accents!).

The last time I could afford to take both my dogs to be groomed, when I went to pick them up, I could hear both my husky and my Newfie howling! The ladies grooming them were howling along and I could hear them all over the store. I asked if the groomers had been sung to the entire time and they said yes, but that they had fun howling along. Hahahaha.
