[Solved] Webcam Not Showing in StreamLabs OBS Software After Installation | Easy Fix

This did not solve my issue. My issue was a different one. If you have both OBS and StreamLabs OBS, you have to right click and deactivate the webcam on OBS and then do the same for the webcam on StreamLabs, then right click and activate the camera again on StreamLabs. That is what solved my issue

everyone knoes this... im just trying to get my streamcam to work. I want the feed to come directly from the camera to streamlabs but when i choose it its just a black screen, no image. I dont want to use logitech capture cause there's a delay, the audioand camera aren't synced. I just want them to be synced.

Good info but this is not a "fix" (as if there was a problem in OBS). It's a feature. You literally added a video capture source... to add a video capture source.

hi guys just thought I would tell you how i got mine working after having the same problem. Delete all video capture devices from your sources list and create a new one. This worked for me

so my camera worked for almost a year but then stopped working. camera works when i plug it in like i can see myself and when i follow those steps to add it just never shows up. I checked moved it to the top so box would be on top. but no box to grab. any tips I cant get the camera to show up on stream labs.

im not sure why but when i first downloaded and used labs everything was automatic didnt have a problem. Had to unplug and move my PC and now it refused to recognize it and had to do this to manually force the webcam onto the stream. Thanks for the vid would have taken me ages to stumble across this otherwise

You would need an external mic for that, it is not possible to record clearly without a mic.

a weird trick I use for that specific situation is this. I join a discord call with one account on my PC, and a join the call on my phone on a second account. And have streamlabs record my desktop audio picking. It might not be the best audio quality tho. A microphone or headset with mic attached will be the best.
