When he died he gave orders for a huge funeral to be made for him in the middle of no where. Nobody that went to the funeral or knew the location of his burial were allowed survive after the funeral (This includes the soldiers that killed the witnesses). The worst part of this was that nobody was given the information that they were going to be killed at the funeral. Very many people were killed in this process and the only thing that survived was the order to kill a witness. To this day, the location of Genghis Khan’s body is still unknown.
