  • In this video, Tim Chaffey reveals why the Bible is NOT the only source for the flood. Something skeptics often miss is that there are hundreds of legends around the globe about a worldwide flood, and they share many of the same details!

      Then where’s the evidence?? The video literally said “other cultures mention a flood therefore Bible is true” uh yeah no?? A global flood would’ve left IMMENSE evidence in rocks and the fossil record… evidence we simply don’t see.

    You are very correct! The Chickasaw Indians of the United States, have a world wide flood story , which describes how water covered the earth and the only creatures that made it out alive were one family and a pair of each kind of animal. They don't describe an Ark, but overall the story is much like the story of Noah and other world flood stories.

      @taqresu5865 Před rokem

      What's also fascinating are the correlations between different Creation myths, and their similarities with the beginning of Genesis.
      For example the Blackfeet tribe have the story, "Old Man, Napi, made the animals and then molded clay into a human shape and said, 'You must be People.'"
      The Cheyenne Tribe have:
      "Maheo, the All Spirit, created a salty lake. From a ball of mud he made land which rested on the back of a turtle. And the Earth was known as Grandmother, Earth Woman. Later, by breathing on one of his own ribs, Maheo created First Man and then First Woman. Maheo is still with us as all good and all life."
      The excerpts are from plaques at the Museum of the Rockies, a Natural History Museum in Montana, U.S.
      That is just two examples right there from Native American tribes. Think of the implications here. It's impossible for the Blackfeet or Cheyenne peoples to derive any influence from the book of Genesis, yet the similarities are uncanny. The logical inference here is that Noah's descendants retained these stories after the Tower of Babel thousands of years ago, and oral tradition slowly modified and embellished them into the myths we know of today. Of course this is only applicable up to the events of the Tower of Babel.

The first candidate is _Mount Ararat,_ but, there were other _high mountains_ in the mountains of Ararat where _Noah's Ark_ might have landed, the question is, in addition to _Mount Ararat (5,137 m),_ which could be these other likely _high mountains?_ There are a few other candidates over _3,800m_ high, which are they? Another one on the list is _Mount Aragats (4,090 m)_ which are the other likely _highest ones?_

    The source of all knowlege and wisdom is ultimately the Word of God. The Scripture is the foundation of everything.
    Science may not be able to humanly explain various phenomenas, humans won't be able to comprehend, but that doesn't mean something didn't happen.
    Ultimately, it is at the stage when human comprehension and logic ends, God start to work. His ways are beyond logic, beyond the 3 dimensional limits of man.

      Actually the source of all knowledge is logic and reason, after all, God didn’t give us modern medicine, the internet, electronic devices, the lightbulb, houses, fire, irrigation, satellites, the ISS, planes, cars, solar panels, beds, ovens, food recipes, soap, laptops, or boats… people figured all those out all by themselves. I say, thanks for nothing to your almighty “God” who can’t do more than promise some afterlife nonsense and make you feel good when you pray.

    So sad that you would claim to be Christian, yet use false bibles to pollute the minds of men. (Genesis 2:7) "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Man became a living SOUL! This soul, is what you claim to be attempting to convert and save, yet in the ESV, it is a "creature", as all the other animals! The Lord God gave man, a SOUL, unlike the beasts of the earth. How can you teach correct doctrine, with a corrupted book?
    (1 Peter 1:23-25) "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. {24} For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: {25} But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."
