Love it! Alessandra, half Italian and half Norwegian=POWERFUL. 🥳 The song begins with Norwegian traditional folk tone, and also some more of that during the performance. Mix of Viking and ancient Roman too. Catchy! ❤
I was waiting for this! Already love this song so much and even though the beat reminds of Klara Hammarström "Run to the Hills" (saying this as a Swede) I will say that this is so much better in my opinion. The lyrics, vocals, costumes and staging is so good!

some people compare this to Klara's "Run to the Hills", but to me, this also has vibes and sounds from Anton Ewald's "New Religion" that competed in Melodifestivalen in 2021.

To be completely honest I was a little disappointed with Norway this year, I completely loved the Alessandra song but I don't know how many of you heard Ulrikke song for this year MGP it was unbelievable even better than Attention in 2020 when the contest was cancelled. On my opinion she should have win this year as well but after all Norway always send amazing songs and this one is great as well, it's easily top 5 material!!
In my opinion. I loved Ulrikkes song in 2020 but her song this year wasn't good. You have to have a great voice AND song
It's a great song, singer, vocals and lighting. But for me, the staging feels really empty/dark during verses, Alessandra lacks choreo for this type of song and it feels like a Run To The Hills 2.0. idk
They had a really low budget and limitations (no Pyro allowed) etc in the nationals. I'm pretty sure they will put a very heavy machinery in place to elevate costume, staging, lighting, add pyrotechnics etc for the final.
Run to the hills have very different chords, tempo, beat...Compare the music notes/chords, totaly different songs...
This song is just not for me. It feels like flat and empty kitsch. Sorry Norway.
This is as bland and repeatable as possible (tens or even hundreds songs like this were played in radio) and that's why she will be high in final because most Eurovision fans love bad songs and if someone is trying to do something different, it can barely reach the final
It's all down to personal preference. What you consider a "bad song" is someone else's "favourite song". Stop trying to act morally superior.
