I have it in 35mm. Most gold plated watches have that cheese gold look to them but somehow Tissot has managed to make this one look like solid gold and not cheesy. That alone makes it a win in my book.

That's absurd. Because you can't afford a solid gold watch which the vast majority of human beings will never be able to afford in this life time, don't wear a gold colored watch? No. For certain cheaply finished "cheese gold" watches, maybe. But this is a high quality PVD finish and nothing wrong with wearing it. I bought the 35mm gold auto and it was the second watch I ever purchased (my first being Junghans max bill auto) and both from your store! I will say you the service you provided was awesome and I can tell you care about your customers - all in all, I love both of my watches and whenever I wear this one, it scratches the itch for that gold rolex datejust, VC 222, and an AP all in one package; if they made a real gold version, I would honestly buy it since Tissot already makes great watches

I was in Milan and visited the Tissot store, to see the this watch for the first time. I tried 35mm Gold, Ice Blue, and White dial, to be honest I was so hooked to it. 35mm looks so damn alluring on both thin and thick wrist. I loved it but unfortunately I hadn’t enough money by the time to buy it that I still to this day regret it.

Never liked full gold watches + PRX (Regular Steel Bracelets) never looked right on my wrist no matter how much I wanted them to. BUT after I tried the Gold just for giggles (quartz) I INSTA-bought it! AND the moment I heard about the Powermatic gold announcement I sold the Quartz and now I own the Gold Powermatic (40mm for me) There is something so special about the PRX Design in Gold... that I wouldn't have known I needed until I saw it on my wrist.

  • @ph1lo

I got the green in 40mm but I’m really wanting to get a 35mm which would suit my need for a smaller more formal watch. I just can’t decide on the Gold 35mm or the ice blue 35mm. I have a feeling I’d get more use out of the ice blue (waffle/Auto), but the gold looks so nice and elegant. I just think it wouldn’t suit me cause I tend to be in a leather jacket than an office suit.
Owning the green PRX in the collection I can at least be sure it’s an accurate watch, looks and feels high quality and just has a great bracelet. Even though the bracelet is predominantly brushed it flickers in the light so well and is much bling than you’d think. And the polishing is were it will pick up those pesky little hairline scratches a polished watch gets. However this can be removed on most polished surfaces with good polish for stainless steel.
I’d love to hear people’s opinions. Would a 35mm gold suit a make in his mid 30s who tends to mainly wear jeans and t-shirts?
The ice blue is clearly the winner for your everyday watch.
Thanks for the upload. Great as always ❤

But that smaller 35mm looks just showy enough without being too gaudy and bulky (since it's gold) -- I wonder if I can pull it off. Probably doesnt help that I dont know my wrist size ... 🙃

What I can tell you is that I’ve bought a string of watches in this price bracket over the last three years and Tissot just didn’t make it to purchase. GShock, Baltic, MR Jones, Zelos and Vario all ended up in collection instead.
