I needed to build confidence on the road so I would say the 250 as the first bike was the right choice for me. I had my riding skills down but wasn't confident about riding on the road with other cars and trucks etc. I did master the 250cc in 1 month and then got bored so got the Vulcan. It's all about your confidence level. I am glad I started with a smaller bike and worked up to the Vulcan.
Hey Kam. I just bought, installed, then uninstalled the Delkevic 21" ceramic full exhaust and have a comment and question. The reason I took the Delkevic off was that it was just way too loud when I would release the throttle, or while down shifting. This was with the baffle in. All other sounds were nice, but those 2 were like 10 times louder then all others, even while accelerating. I am highly considering the CS and just wanted to know if it is also really loud when your riding then release the throttle, or when down shifting? Thank you very much for your time and answer! Hey man yea the delkevic is too loud for my taste as well. The CS racing Exhaust is not too loud when decelerating or down shifting it actually sounds great in my opinion. No calibration needed. This exhaust comes with a muffler so the air flow is similar to stock exhaust for the engine. I have booster plug installed which helps reduce the engine braking and improves throttle response. You don't need the booster plug for this exhaust to work. CS racing also confirmed that no calibration is needed with this exhaust. It's pure plug and play!
I was pretty much decided to get one , but then found out royal Enfield super meteor 650 which is a bit cheaper and better build quality, led light , comfort seat, sounds better from the factory. So now I have to test ride both of them :D
Can you do a video with and without the db killer at 2500rpms to measure the sound diffrence since in my country we are allowed to run fullsystem exhaust as long as it is 99db at 2500rpm measured at 3.5 meters fron the exhaust tip. I am really interested in the exhaust.

Nope, no tuning needed. CS Racing also confirmed no tuning needed. I got my bike used and previous owner installed the booster plug so I have that anyway.

Once you install the new exhaust do you have to do anything extra to calibrate your motorcycle, so the engine doesn't get damaged?
No calibration needed. This exhaust comes with a muffler so the air flow is similar to stock exhaust for the engine.
