      I think the concept of changing your day around is crucial to an entrepreneur's success. When you are completely in charge of your day, you have to make it "your day".
      Im the exact same way btw I get up before the sun, get my hard shit done and over with, and eat later in the day. I have been doing that ever since you first talked about it back in the day. I guess I'm the same sleep type. Thanks for all the info.

    One of my favorite videos since I started following your channel. I used to force myself to get up at certain hours because that's what other successful people said you had to do. But I wouldn't be nearly as productive as when I would just let natural sleep cycle take place. The break is huge too. Used to feel bad about that but it works. I get 2-3 hours of work done (which accomplishes almost all of the most important things I need to do for the day) and then go for a walk or go to the gym. When I get back, I refocus and kill it again. There isn't one way to do things. Find what works for you and crush it. Thanks for sharing true shit.

    Seems like a small detail, but for anyone thinking of fasting until later in the day remember...you cannot eat a calorie! No coffee creamer, no multi vitamins with sugar, no gum etc... the entire point is to not spike insulin. If you drink a glass of OJ for breakfast and then fast until 3 you will feel terrible. Your body released insulin early without enough food to match.

    • @bwing411
      @bwing411 Před 4 lety +7

      I fast until around 2pm most days and it seems like a try hard weird thing to do, but it’s absolutely beneficial. I have more focus and energy, my body creates more testosterone, and I am leaner without losing weight.

    • @gmchessplay9043
      @gmchessplay9043 Před 3 lety +2

      This is actually very important. The moment you consume anything, no matter how small, your body is preparing for an entire meal. It doesn’t know that you just took a bite of something. Your body will start to get extremely hungry since you now have the insulin spike without the glucose for it to regulate.

      Jordan Peterson said to eat protein because it helps mood and energy. This partially because it crowds out other foods that cause sugar spikes and dips. Intermittent fasting will also help but it's also really hard to do if you're not used to it. So start with breakfast and then try Becker's method.

    • @DavidKFZ
      @DavidKFZ Před 4 lety +11

      Jonas Horad's Channel
      I've done Intermittent Fasting for about 2 months now, it's good shit. The key point to understand is you're made hungry by the hormone "ghrelin" and ghrelin is only made around times you normally eat.
      Knowing this, you can go to 2 meals a day, 1 meal a day or even 1 meal every 2 days without feeling hungry, it's a case of your body realising you don't want to eat 3 meals a day so it adjusts.
      And the best way to use IF is through black coffee, which Alex has eluded to. It's an appetite suppressant so if you have 1-2 black coffees before lunch you'll be able to ease into it no worries.
      Then Jordan Peterson is correct in the idea of protein, protein + another macro (carbs, fats) will help keep you satiated and produce the slow-burning energy you need so you don't spike and crash energy wise.
      It's worth a shot anyway, and it helps get you ready for work/school in a very, very short amount of time while you've got strong energy up until lunch

    Man, my routine is sooo close, after about 7 months playing with my wake up time, fasting til noon, etc I also find that I'm pretty much useless from the moment I eat something. Gold content bro, I can tell it's real experience. I'm very close to trying the 1 meal a day (currently 2 meals), and wake up at 3am (currently 5am). Most resources I've checked about wake up times says 3-4am is optimal for most because it's the time our body temperature is the lowest and when our lungs are the most active.

    I think you're routine is a lil over the top, but i understand why you do it. At your level im sure you have to do alot to maintain your state and momentum
    I'd recommend getting into ice baths and wim hoff breathing, this will highly reduce your inflamation rate from all the caffine and stress, it will also give you more leeway to fuck up a little here and there as your balancing it out with deep breathing and blood alkalinity.

    Drop carbs to 20% and increase fat to 60% and you will stop feeling drowsy after a meal. The reason for tiredness is (apart from digesting) sugar spikes from carbs. Insulin comes in to lower that spike but in the process sugar drops below average and so you get sleepy. Fat is a far superior fuel source and much healthier.

      @Curtis3366 Před 2 lety

      @@hulkhoganwwf I also use olive oil (oleic acid) , fish oil, bacon grease, MCT oil, lard, and avacado oil. Avoid ALL seed oils like the plague, which is difficult because they are basically in nearly every single commercially processed food that has a label on it. Even things like mayonnaise, and ranch dressing. So that means avoid soybean oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil, canola oil, margarine, corn oil, cottenseed oil (Crisco), processed cheese, and all hydrogenated oils. Eat as little of this as possible, although it is difficult unless you're preparing all your own meals at home. Basically all fried food (Fried Chicken, french fries, chicken strips, corn chips, potato chips, etc), and all packaged and processed food is full of this and it is pure poison. It's funny, how there's so much focus on sugar and carbohydrates, but these oils are equally deleterious to your health, while quality fats can have a PROFOUND positive impact.

I do this on saturdays also just with personal projects rather than work work.. also on saturdays i go for a bike ride at noon for a couple hours to get some f*cking sun because i'm inside all week that pisses me off.. sunday i might take a late morning nap or take it easy or do something mindless.
