For those that want to know, sound.me is a site that promises to pay $3.5 per 1000 views on TikTok by making use of the sounds on their site. This offer right here is already a red flag because even TikTok themselves do not pay that much per 1000 views and I have explained why in this video. If you want to make money on social media you need to grow your page by yourself with hard work and effort. You don’t need these sketchy sites to pay you. This site isn’t officiated by TikTok and this is more of a reason why you should avoid this site.

The money comes from the artist label or PR teams.I am an artist manager and we pay these companies a certain amount that we budget and they then distribute that money amongst creators who accept until the budget has been exhausted. So it is very sustainable as they will take their cut. just because you don't understand how a certain business works doesn't make it sketchy dear.

You can try freelancing. For example if you are a UGC creator you can offer those freelance skills or if you are a content creator, you can help write content for others or edit videos for others(anything along those lines). For me I am into freelancing but stuff has been slow and I have made a little from it.

Exactly. I keep seeing this site on TikTok and immediately I did my research I saw it was a huge red flag 🚩. You can’t even access their terms and conditions on the site without logging in on the site with a tiktok account

Not Really , If You Are Not In A Top Tier Country You Don't Get Many Sounds I Live In US so I get 5-6 Sounds In Nigeria 😐

Okay owners/sponsors can drop their sounds on this app but let me ask you a question, is the money they drop enough to pay everyone on the app that uses the sound or only a limited number of people. Assuming if I was a sponsor of the app and I pay $200 to put up my sound in sound.me, it means that not every user can get this amount of money from the sound in particular. Let us assume from that $200 I used to put my sound up that $1 is paid per 1000 views, it means that only 200 people can make money from that sound and not the others which is why my point still stands that the money distributed from the sponsor cannot reach everybody

@@pat1985oslonorway okay. For me I haven’t confirmed my email and I don’t want to confirm it with them because I don’t trust them with my email. I have heard that people who registered on sound.me with their emails have been receiving emails with suspicious links that look like it’s from tiktok and that worries me

They Don't Pay Per 1,000 Views Lmao Do Your Research Properly
What did I see on their site. Immediately you go on their site you see a slider that shows how much they pay per 1000 views, 10,000 views and so on. Yes I dis log into that site and I saw a sound that paid like a dollar per 1000 views but they should not post $3.5 per 1000 views on their site if they can’t pay that out

You need to make proper research before making videos like this. In the last 2 weeks I made a total of $33 and $10 has been paid to my PayPal.
