Color scheme? I’m trying to decide for my own Knight Desecrator I want to attach to a World Eaters army and right now I’m thinking brass armor with black accents and lots of blood splatter, but I’m not 100% sold on that

It really depends. Something like a Knight Rampager would DEFINITELY have that as its cockpit. Those things are so unbelievably insane (in a very literal sense) and are so corrupted by chaos it’s not hard to imagine that’s what the inside looks like.
A Knight Despoiler on the other hand is more so a standard “evil Imperial Knight”. Not very corrupted, it’s only really considered a “chaos” Knight because it has the 8 pointed star plastered on it. The machine is more sentient and its pilot is at minimum slightly affected by chaos, but no mutations are present.
Imagine a regular knight fighting an army, and then a chaos knight just jumps him and beats his ass, and just goes like "remember nurglings, praise nurgle!"
Unlikely to happen. Chaos Knights lack discipline, and their very rigid fighting styles (remember: each god is a specialist) means that a more flexible Imperial Knight has a very good chance of beating it one-on-one. That being said, it all comes down to the level of corruption the Chaos Knight has and the skill of the Imperia Knight pilot.
These things are just terrifying. Something unnerving seeing a gigantic demon bot protected by a void shield.
One of the most faithful and loyal units in the imperium turned to Chaos (literally one of the first units of the imperium)

In terms of all out war probably Perturabo would be the worst, i wouldnt want to.fight the deathguard either, nasty & filthy MF.
@@Dreadbringer I wonder how strong the sons of malice are compared to other marines, if they're fighting everybody 24/7 in the warp they should be really experienced. Unlike the death guard who also take care of the rot of nurgle. I understand if they're not that powerful, but it would be cool to have the custodes of chaos so to speak.
@@jfjgbjxkdb3285 Chaos answer to the Custodes are the Gal vorbak, My take is that they are a powerful enough chapter but i don't see them winning against any of the original 9 Legions; on another subject i really want to see Abaddon destroyed and his black Legions shattered for another maybe a primarch to take his place, maybe Perturabo, i don't like the guy that mucho but he is a true menace.
@@Dreadbringer I agree. Some of the chaos seem to be very shallow. Like for example in hammer and bolter the death guard are just generic villains like Skeletor from he-man. Well the series are quite poo, but the space marines seem to just be dumb or autistic as the community calls them.
My favorite knight was the one from Steel Tread. A slaaneshi knight with sharpened spikes for limbs that scrambled around on the ground or ran blindingly fast... honestly a really great book

I play kill team, not 40k, but id like to think if I started an army it would be chaos knights. I don't think they're "competitive" but it would be a fun meme to have a couple knight rampagers painted in World eaters colors just ripping and tearing until it is done (when I get tabled turn 2/3).

Chaos knights are my go-to army. Always got that spare change in points to play the nurgling summon, and play protect the VIP while he captures the point lol.
I do not win with chaos knights very often.
Weird enough they are...more mobile than the normal knights if you see the art and some book they move more and more human like and fast,the slaneesh knight are really fast if just dumb fast how they move

Yes, there’s special rules for it in Adeptus Titanicus, as well as models for corrupted Titans in 40k.
Also, there’s some awesome Chaos Titans like Abominatus and the Castigator.

To this day I can't understand the appeal Chaos has for 95% of the traitors. Sure, you have your occasional power hungry lunatic or a socipath/psychopath, but the rest are there for no good reason whatsoever, you want a lot of killing? I think that's cause they portray chaos poorly. The chaos undivided warbands and Renegades are a lot about personal freedom and carving your own path in the galaxy. The red corsair books do a good job at showing that

I'd like to see an expansion into the Archpriests that didn't fall to chaos but were still deemed heretical for their obsession with xeno tech.
There are some custom 3d prints out there of Necron Knight monstrosities that are severely missing in the game. I'd like to see more expansions on the renegades of all factions. The lines for good and evil in the grimdark age of the 41st millenia are supposed to be blurred...

It is… partially. The Knight Despoiler is a boss you can fight in events (you can even obtain its paint scheme). And, there’s 3 different Chaos Knight skins available: Khorne, Slaanesh, and Chaos Undivided (Undivided being the only one that you can obtain without in-app purchases).

On one note, corrupted knights (loyal knights that got changed by chaos unwillingly) have a very painful process.

Titan, they posses far stronger fire power, void shields, and tower over knights. A titan would just step on a knight.

This is pretty tricky to answer, as knights can vary from All out meele, only ranged or a mix of both. same with titans.
knights are also bigger than titans. standing 9 - 12 meters tall while titans are only around 6 meters.
an advantage a titan has however, is their agility. Titans are quite fast and agile. Leaping and turning around a battle field. Knights however, prefer to slowly walks or charge at their enemy and can be outmanoeuvred by a more agile foe.
But if a knight gets a hit in, it can be devastating. With their melting cannons, gattling guns or simply their chain saw arms.
another factor is the pilot. Knights only have a human pilot inside but a titan has a human and AI. allowing for faster calculations and decisions for the titan.
So, it will be a close match.
if the knight can get a good hit in and keep striking. Then the knight wins. but if the titan outmanoeuvres the knight and outsmart the knight, then the titan wins.

Because normal Knights are as fast as a war machine of that size can go. Daemons and “blessings” make Chaos Knights unnaturally powerful.
