My nephew John born in Norwich, grew up in Lincolnshire, Lived in Iper for many years, his house about a mile from the Menin gates. John died from cancer in Iper Hospital last November, the care he received in Belgium was second to none. Iper is a special place.

This is REAL. A commemoration of those who served and gave their lives. Neither 'wokes' nor Orcs will silence the souls of the fallen. My grandfather fell at Dunkirk, May 1940. He and his comrades believed with their souls that Hitler was EVIL, and HAD to be destroyed. This is the message of remembrance. Poland, for which we declared war in 1939, is a brother Nation to Ukraine.

Attended the Menin gate ceremony on five occasions. Moved me every time.
My Great Grandfather was at Ypres in WW1...Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry....god bless him all those who were there....
