Fly Fishing For Arapaima in Guyana

hey guys,
Last winter I was sent down to Guyana with Sam Lungren to capture more arapaimas caught on the fly with MidCurrent Travel. within 2 days we had fulfilled that task and were able to target other species on the bucket list. 10 days packed with adventure and all sorts of monster fish!

Wow what a fish, it seems like instead of jumping they violently thrash around on the surface. Might be because of that unique tail.

Yeah the smaller ones will go airborne but the bigs seem to juwt get about half way out and tailwalk
