Tapasya episode 71 - Facts & Factors of a Group
This episode of Tapasya discusses the facts in the formation of a group and the factors that contribute to its gradual growth and success in stage performances. A group is never 'fixed' or 'constant', as we may have new entries and exits owing to circumstances. But, the beauty is that, even the new entrants can easily gel into the groove of the group when the co-dancers are strong and accommodative.
For a group to develop a synergy among themselves is a long term process, which when they achieve, makes a striking mark in the hearts of Rasikas.
Tapasya - the training sessions, is a series of videos that will be published on a monthly basis (as episodes) on the last day of every month.
The students featuring in Tapasya series have about 6-8 classes every month. Each episode of Tapasya is a cumulative overview of what is taught to them during the course of the month.
Along with the training sessions of the children, Tapasya also holds inputs on teaching techniques from Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan and useful tips from the regular performers of Sridevi Nrithyalaya.

Every fine art sets a long and slow journey for the learners.
    Singers learn swara by swara.
    Artists learn stroke by stroke.
    Dancers learn step by step.
    There are no short cuts.
    There are no bypass roads.
The journey is an uphill task.
The pinnacle can be reached only by the determined learners. 🙏❤️🌻❤️🙏

The glance and the head nod that dancers give each other enhances group cohesiveness; seen uniquely in SDN group performances! Love that
