4 pods per box is insane for a 6 point model. Dreading the Dreadnought pod box cost.
The titan and the knight battlegroup boxes look great. Also i am happy to get the artillery for the solar auxilia :D
I am most definitly looking forward to the lighters, looks like you will get quite a bit per box and I can't wait to swarm the enemy positions with a horde of flying axe infantry!
For sure. Points per box aren’t huge - but transport capacity is pretty great. Way better than drop pods on both counts of course.
@@LItbashing Yeah, the cost to points is valid, but at least they didn't mix it in with something else I don't want just to pad that. Will probably only need one box anyway, so its not as bad as it could be (think of some 40k armies where you need to buy a lot of the same bad cost to points troops)

Two weeks.....lol. Add another 2 to 4 weeks for us down under in Australia just to see the pre order, let alone get any of them as well after another 2 week wait.

They have also shadow dropped the original warhounds with the standard loadout. I’m not sure how I feel about drop pods but I think people are forgetting that they probably have a similar amount of plastic on the two sprues as any of the other two sprue kits. When they eventually release the sicarian as a stand alone box you will only get 4 across two sprues and they are half the size of four kratos or four spartans in a box 🤷♂️
I think I am of the same mind as yourself when it comes to the redundancy of the 500pts drop. For myself, that's just removing either a Reaver or two Cerastus Knights so not reducing dramatically the detachments I'm bringing. However the positive note is it is one less thing to paint and base for the end of April lol

I don't understand why they didn't just make drop pods 8 per box. That would have felt reasonable.
Because I imagine with all the bits there are only two per sprue and standard boxes have two sprues. And it’s nonsense - they absolutely don’t need to be hinged. Alas.
@@LItbashing I haven't seen the sprue yet, but I doubt the hinging takes up significant extra space. If it was modelled closed you wouldn't need the internal structure but if it was modelled open you wouldn't save anything.
Anyway, just put four sprues in the box, if necessary using one of the slightly fatter boxes!
They could have also said 4 stands instead of 2 and doubled the points cost, but that is too logical.
@@RvnKnight I guess it's been long-established that drop pods (not least with the plastic 40K one) carry only ten marines. If they were to create a 20-man pod it would presumably need to be larger than the one we're used to seeing.
But it's pretty rubbish to end up in the situation we're in now, with them charging so much for something we all feel should be available like rhinos rather than Spartans.
Rhinos are 10 per box, so should pods have been. I don’t need tiny articulated doors I’m just going to glue together anyway.

I would have loved to have gone to the event and even managed to get a ticket in the end, but as discussed in another of your videos comments sections, I ended up getting disenchanted with the idea of going to the event due to the lack of re releases of basic items from the base rulebook for the kind of army I wanted to build.
The fact that they are releasing items so close to the event, and as you mentioned this will means a big rush If people have been able to purchase said items and If they have gotten them before and If they have the time to actually assemble and paint them, it's still off putting for me and smacks of a lack of forethought from either the release schedulers or those higher up the chain who seem to not be bothered at the hash that seems to have been made for the whole release for the system.
Having said that I am looking forward to getting my hands (if possible) on the direwolves as never had gotten the forgeworld versions due to the pricing for one model and the Proteus models look ace so who wouldn't want them eventually.
However as you have said and others, the price of the drop pods makes me blanche and I feel I may source those else whereas I already could pick up printed versions for a full detachment at half the price of the box set to come.
Even with my no-3D-printing hat on, drop pods are making me clench my teeth (and my wallet)
For the Warmaster and Warbringer I really hope they add new weapons to them.

The Nemesis Warbringer is compatible with all Reaver arms :)

Loving dire wolf knights, certainly getting some. Haven’t had time to look for 3d drop pods so raiders and Spartans. Do you think we’ll get bikes and speeders next?
Speeders and dreadnought pods and Dracosans are I think all that’s left (not including reboxes)

it may seem trivial, but be careful putting hard left images in your videos, some people might get the wrong idea. as a youtuber do not show your political opinion or hint to it, people might assume things, its bad press. hobby focus only.
The clenched fist is literally the image for Power to the People (amongst other people-based-movements) which I said out loud regarding responding to the call for a consultation. A bit tongue in cheek, sure, as filling in a Warhammer World form is hardly democracy manifest. Nevertheless - Vote for left, right, or centre - democracy is (I hope) not a partisan issue. And to suggest it is is perhaps telling of ‘the other side’. Whichever side that may be. I ain’t sayin’ nothin’ (as per your ‘hobby focus only’ 😜)
