Hello, is it possible to cast from your devices such as phone or tablet to the projector in the same way as for example with Chromecast, or does it only support screen mirroring and the device screen has to be on at all times?
Hi, I have a Samsung phone and use smart view to cast to the projector without any problems. When I push the power button to lock my phone it then turns dark with time line at the bottom for me scroll the video. If on the same WiFi or mobile connection it works perfectly and Samsung tend to work well with other Android devices and also support apple air play. Bought this as an open box sale at Best Buy first gen saved like 400 dollars thought that was great until I used it. Total piece of crap that Samsung should be ashamed to sell. I get what they are doing they will keep upgrading it from year to year until it’s going to be decent so they start off will low specs. The speaker is decent and if you wanted to use it four feet from the wall it’s a great picture but that’s not why you buy a projector. I took out my old clunky projector and using that again because it’s day and night difference
