One thing that pisses me off is not your video but the way Zander says that Jake is too much of a jerk to be bullied…LIKE WTF! ANYONE CAN BE BULLIED! ZANDER HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT THE REASON HE IS A JERK SOMETIMES IS SO HE CANT BE BULLIED AGAIN?!?! I wanted to slap Zander SO HARD in that moment. Anyways, great video! 😁

Dude i want to go on a rant here.....
Of course whatever Jake said was extremely over the line, and those words are some that never should've been uttered. However i f***in feel like a lot of people tend to forget many things:
1) Jake was literally pressured because in the group no one was supporting him and that group consisted of his closest friends too. As someone who is a people pleaser i can very much relate to going with the flow so that others don't hate you. Everything is fine as long as Jake is perfect. Everyone else is allowed to make mistake, but lo and behold, not Jake. Everyone is such a hypocrite! Zander had been rude since the moment Jake entered, and he was rude just because he hung out with their bullies, but remember Jake had never ever bullied them. So Zander being an assh*le was completely excused just because he has trauma?
2) Now i come to my second point. Even Jake had trauma. From his childhood he had been bullied and had been told that what he loved doing was something wrong, and something that only freaks do. THAT MENTALLY MAKES A CHILD SICK! Jake free up hiding EVERYTHING! EVERY DAMN NEGATIVE EMOTION HE HAD, WHCIH COULD POTENTIALLY MAKE SOMEONE DISLIKE HIM. Throughout the series we never see Jake get mad or ever get seriously angry even if something was bugging him.
3) The music club was always on guard with him. Now i know they have trauma, but that doesn't excuse the fact that you recruit a member only to never trust them. I've been in a friend group once, and i always felt left out because i felt unwelcome there. If you don't want to trust him then don't recruit him in the first place, but recruiting someone and then making them always feel inferior and in the wrong is a shit move. The music club NEVER heard Jake out. Like i get the fact that they were hurt, but they knew about this incident from A DAMN VIDEO. If you can trust a video over a person then it's a formality to at least hear that person out. The shallowness is clearly visible because instead of even hearing Jake out they chose to believe a small portion of a video.
4) Whatever Jake had said was extremely private and was spoken in the company of a completely close friend group. The fact that only a small part of their whole conversation was recorded and not the entire part where Jake was clearly defending the music club at the start was cut out. That video should never have gone public. If Jake said those words then it was upto him and ONLY him to relay that to the music club. A third party had NO RIGHT to interfere.
Both the music club as well as the jomies are to recieve a major portion of blame. Because while Jake spent countless sleepless nights and went through an agonising choice between the jomies and the music club, neither took ANY DAMAGE!!! No one cared to even ask if Jake was alright or not because this whole incident must've been traumatic to any child. (Yes teens are still children) While Jake was busy trying to apologise no one noticed his deteriorating condition. A true friend will hear their friend out despite the troubled waters between them. That's the first rule of a good friend. So i don't ever want someone to solely blame Jake and pretend like the music club is a club full of saints.

Finally someone says it! Ty! Say it louder for the people in the back. But seriously I completely agree. And if people need proof all they have to do is look at when drew got upset that Jake was singing with hailey. You can see how uncomfortable/stressed/worried Jake is in that moment.

Not to hate, but people need to stop erasing the music clubs trauma. Yes. Jake used to get bullied, but the music club never gets a break. There is no excuse for what Jake said, and as someone with trust and abandonment issues. I would never have heard Jake out.
Although jake lifted them up and helped them multiple time and they didn’t even give him a chance to explain himself.
No hate either But I mean most videos like these include the music clubs trauma and yes, Jake did use to get bullied for his whole life. The only time it stopped was in freshman year, and I'm pretty sure they're like junior or senior year of high school, and the music club as a whole only started getting bullied in freshman year, Haley started getting bullied in middle school, and then Xander, I think he got made fun of in elementary school for being like the quiet kid or something I can't remember exactly and milly I think started getting teased by Zoe in middle school, it could have been before, then you don't really have a background for anyone else
And I also have trust and abandonment issues, and I am not really sure what I would have heard I know I probably wouldn't have but you know even though I have issues, I would probably get in my head about it and say that's my fault that they said that and stuff and then regret it not asking them why they did it because I've done that before so know I probably wouldn't hear Jake out I was in that position, but then I would regret not asking him why, but I would still never talk to him again.
Understand, Jake has been bullied his whole life for his passion. In freshmen year when he met Drew he completely changed himself to not be bullied. He was being pressured into saying that stuff, you can tell that the Jomies most likely manipulated him into doing bad things. Of course, what he’s done shouldn’t be excused, but try to see it in his view, it's reasonable why you wouldn't hear him out with his past of being a bully it would be hard to believe any different than the proof that they had been sent. It's reasonable why they would react that way, though I to wish they would listen to his reasoning, they were probably acting on emotion
Well that's you, the club didn't get a break but they are not the only one with trauma, they heard what he said but didn't know why he said that or even when he said that. They didn't even question if it was real before they confronted Jake.. He was pressured into saying that. They are bad friends..
Also yes He does have a excuse.. That's being pressured into saying that he just said that out of peer pressure
