Erratas literally means mistakes or mistaken, the mistaken ones, those mistaken, i.e. the error-ed, erred. Can mean typos, but if you find a box labelled erratas in a factory or a warehouse, that means the box contains defective pieces of whatever product/s they're making. Now, depending on what you discover and/or who's running the factory, that discovery can be more or less dangerous. But, my bet is on
the original poster finally feeling stupid when he discovered what it meant that he just deleted his account.

20 minutes in and this is the most compelling, nutso internet mystery I've ever seen. The fact the the _automatic captions_ gave clues and reinforced the mystery - I mean, whatever the next half of the video reveals, this is already one of my favorite videos I've seen this year

@@lfrankow Potentially edited audio? Upload it unlisted/private, give time for the auto captions to catch the words, then replace the audio and publish it.
There's a video on alantutorial, titled "how to change," that (apparently accidentally) had the audio switched from the normal video to silence then jazz. But looking at the auto-generation caption transcript people were able to piece together the original dialogue. So while I don't know whether or not that technique would work, based on that example I'd guess it could.

The captions technically weren't even intended, actually, as the creator (DJ Rozwell) said in an interview.
I honestly think it was a fantastic ARG. It created interest towards DJ Rozwell's music and captured the interest of a lot of people. If it weren't very clear that most of these people in the mystery were connected to KFC Murder Chicks, it would have probably remained a mystery
rozwell and the murder chicks are really fucking good artists, thank god i discovered them via this
Rozwell is one of my all time fav mildly obscure artists. He's done some pretty sick collabs with another cretin called SurgeryHead. Some really filthy and brain melting stuff!

(After knowing all rules you are now playing unless you pass it on to a specified amount of people) anywho no longer allowed to have lights off, darkness with open closets or a pair of eyes will be staring at you etc. 2 knocks its to show that they are just letting you know they are around. 3 knocks means you're fucked essentially. After watching it on yt using the living room tv. 3 loud ass knocks were heard upstairs where the baby was asleep (mind you no one else was upstairs) shit was odd to say the least.

The interesting thing is that Erratas seems to have a general meaning within a lot of languages as "incorrectness". In Spanish, it means 'typos' - in Italian, it means 'wrong' - in Latin it means 'mistakes' or 'mistaken things'.

I liked this one so much that this is the third time I've listened to it over the past several years. I remember the first time I listed to it, it took me a week to finish it all the way through, but it was very worth the extra dramatic stretch. In fact, I thought it was real at some point, because I had no idea what an ARG was or that it existed. Something i noticed about simply the thumbnail that i like is, after you finish the video, the thumbnail tells you the definition of an ARG by action.

I don't know, it smelled very fast like an ARG. And erratas is really a stupid choice for a "banned word" since it's used so often in : publishing, manufacturing, music, papers, computer science, law, or anything mistake related...
the fact that erratas is the word is amusing to me, because as a classical musician, i find it all the time.
it just means the part you're reading off is imperfect. That's because a composer would write the accurate full orchestral score and then pass it off to a copyist to hand-transcribe individual parts for publication, and those human copyists could screw up. If the piece is in the between state of too early to have access to infallible digital music software but too recent to be public domain, no one can republish with the corrected parts.
normally, people holding an audition will make a list so that the auditioners know how to play it -something like "errata: at measure 27, the G should be sharp. at 78, there should be a staccato above the second eighth note."

eh not really, single words are pretty easy to filter, see IG being able to lable every single post that mentions Covid, even in an image form, targeted advertising that at times seems like it's just reading what you thought about, certain terms and phrases being monitored for obvious reasons(not naming shit directly but you can probably guess what I mean here) , like, this is an arg for sure but it really isn't that far fetched to say a single word like this could be picked out from exclusivly company databases and well known forums or online spaces

this is one of those things that people who are desperate for some sort of excitement see and go "WHAT COULD THIS MEAN IT MUST BE SO DEEP" but really the reason it's so mysterious is because there isn't anything to it below the surface and it's just one or two people making posts on different platforms. Edit: yeah Nexpo hit the nail on the head with the explanation good video.

Errata is a pretty common term in software development. Coming from the word Erratum which is used for books. It means the list of corrected errors or bugs. We use ‘erratas’ as plural even though it is grammatically incorrect. But if you search erratas on certain places you might come across some pretty interesting stuff. Sometimes even the most secret projects don’t secure documents like an errata. So they might end up publicly hosted even though the project itself is not. And some errata documents have detailed information, some are crucial. And some projects worth just plain billions. If you end publicizing it, you might get into serious trouble. Be careful.
ah, thank you, so...in this case, partially using truth to fuel and spice up their KMC ARG, error archives that slip out of sensitive private projects, which they fluff into their story as a dangerous mystery entity. 🥴
