Problem is, the press played their role in allowing Trump to win. So on one hand, yeah it's nice to finally see the press pick a side instead of trying to play everything off as 50/50. They had a hand in creating this mess. They never once called bullshit on all the make believe hillary scandals. They helped feed the birther movement. All they care about is ratings, remember that.

I love how Conan NEVER ignores Andy when he makes a joke like sometimes Jimmy ignores Higgins
Abigail Barraza Who's Jimmy and who's higgins? Are they hiding somewhere in the closet like Mortimer Snerd and Charlie McCarthy?
Jimmy does that when Higgins won't stop already with a line of jokes that aren't particularly funny/are not relevant OR when a joke is too naughty for Jimmy to give an answer (that's part of why Higgins is there, to be the naughty one)...but Jimmy has a reaction/response in this case - he smirks or looks sideways, takes a drink of water or smth. and goes on.
That's Higgins' minus, he's so eager to be funny, inspire Jimmy into an improv, that he sometimes rambles and Jimmy has to manage him and sometimes he improvs with him and sometimes he just shuts it down when he doesn't have time to see if they can make it funny or when Higgins is reaching, just throwing random stuff out there.
It's probably b/c Higgins is there for like 10min of the show vs Andy who is present for the entire show and can bide his time to get in with a couple of good jokes per episode...Higgins has only 10min to do smth. and he's there for the jokes part (mono & desk segments), he needs to add to jokes already made, not like Andy who usually listens to straight conversations and adds the jokes. Also, Jimmy's comedy style is more towards improv/role playing and that's a big part of Higgins' job - to be Jimmy's riff partner - and improv can be trickier than jokes...you recover faster from a quick joke that bombs vs an improv that goes on & on to nowhere, so Jimmy has to take that into account.
