With the HUD mods, you can see in the "Destination" column where they are going and what track they will be dropped off at. Even before you accept the jobs. Sneaky way of getting the time bonus if I do say so myself. :)
The moment after Hyce derailed the DE6 on the turntable and has to restart it. The way he operated the levers and doors, smacking them sounded like a very frustrated railroader, although to be fair, it is hard to open and close doors softly in this game.

If you use the remote dispatcher mod, you can see where all the drop offs will be. Before I got that mod, I just put the largest consist in the back to hopefully get the largest bonus first.
Heads Up mod does this as well. If you stand on a consist it will show the destination station and track. In a train it will show each job and its destination, @7:30 in his video here you can see he has a cut bound for E9I in the middle of two jobs for D4I.

Just installed a bunch of these mods, and took a similar trip off the end of the turntable. Definitely recommend the handbrake mod, makes switching so much easier. You have to be careful though, there’s no telling which end of each cut those Night Yard cowboys decided to tie down. Mods have breathed new life into this game for me, it’s fun watching other people enjoy it as well!
The only reason the whistle was so talkative because it knows it's in mortal danger, it's trying to lighten the mood and not think about getting blown to pieces by the load your hauling.
I think you've broken the 4th wall in this one like 100× and it goes on and on. It's so enjoyable, so entertaining, but classic all at once. You replace boredom with excitement and education plus entertainment for any age to enjoy. I love Zeibach's sounds for the DE6, that startup sound gets me every time. He also has a better horn and my favorite: a working bell! That destruction was awesome! Best I have done (accidentally mind you) was to cause a nuclear explosion at the military yard at the harbor. I hooked up a load of spent nuclear fuel then figured I wanted my caboose for this run. So I spawned the caboose, it went insane, blew up the nuclear fuel, a load of tanks and a consist full of ammunition. Never found the Loco... It sounds impressive, but man it pales in comparison to what you accomplished!
I cant wait for the sim update, and I hope they add remote multi unit natively, so you don't have to fiddle with the remote. Last time I tried a train this long, I somehow put a single tanker on the ground in the dead center of the train, then drug it from the oil well to the refinery. Only found out the damage when I was spitting the train apart to put it in the yard. Still have no clue how it didn't blow up, or cut the air line

My longest train is 138 cars. Stretched from C dock in Harbor to the hilltop on the west leading out, before the tunnel. Took 5 DE diesel locomotives to pull it.
I've got the best idea for the final locomotive for Railroads Online! It's a handcar that has a maximum speed of 999 mph. It would require XP Level 999 in order for the player to get it.

fun fact, the blower actually uses steam to fan the flames, which is one reason why you were having pressure problems. that's why the draft is there. it's an alternative to the blower that works while underway
In the break mod the K type vents when it goes into emergency, so all the cars will go into emergency and vent the break pipe all the way down the train

There's a channel that made a, if I remember correctly 2 mile long train. It was pretty insane. Also (possibly same guy?) That found a mod that you can turn off speed limit and derail. It's hilariously insane! Especially when you let it get up to max speed and turn derail back on in a turn with a big hill in front of it. Space trains! lol Great video Hyce
43:27 Next time, setup the DE6 so it is in lapped before you depart, it was set to release for the whole drive, putting back air pressure in the lines when you wanted to service or lap it
12:35 the reason the vent pipe goes wrong is that according to the HUD, it triggers the mode of the valve to go from R (fully released) to S( Service) to E(Emergency + venting). The Emergency vent then spreads though the train, so you hear all brake cylinders of all cars recharging. In real life, you can juist crack the valve open a little to prevent fast air release, so the cart does not go into emergency. But internally, the game handles it like fully open/fully closed with an visual only animation
Every time there's a braking concern I find myself watching the Brake Force column in that HUD, it really shows what's actually happening with each cut of cars. Hyce should probably take a look at those numbers too
Just an FYI, the HUD you have shows you the destinations of all the cuts of cars right in the middle of the lower portion. Way easier than flipping through your paperwork, looking at the wrong page, etc.
The reason you had the wrong uncoupling was because you didn't add one spot for the caboose. Number 1 is always the loco's coupler, then you add one for each car you want to keep coupled to the loco, so 2 would be the far coupler between the caboose and the first tank car, you wanted to keep 4 tank cars, so you would uncouple #6.
This was a good video for what I watched of it as I just couldn't finish it cause you had music playing the whole time over you talking and the train and environment sounds.
There is also a Thomas the tank engine coming to the game with the name of S060 which makes me believe that its a 0-6-0 steam shunter and it should come in the next updates with or following simulator (The next update)
If I were to play this game and I were to pull that many cars or more, I would use 2+ DE-6 locomotives instead of one DE-6 and one steam locomotive because DE-6 is currently the strongest locomotive in the game. You could get additional power that way.
This is true, but I still don't have the MU license because they added it after I'd gotten most of the rest of the licenses and I've been in a content-induced-insursance-pit until this episode. Haha. And, whistle is worth it.

Yeah... It's annoying. I'm not sure why it propagates down the train regardless of the emergency vent on the one car though.

quite surprised you didnt make it easier to load by grabbing the diesel and pushing the last 2 cuts into the back of the line
also side note, if you have the lighter, throw it at any degassing tanker and watch the carnage
